World in Need International is a Christian charity which aspires to see communities transformed by education and development. We believe that even the poorest communities can find hope and freedom when they are empowered to rise above their circumstances. Working to direct resources to where they are most needed, World in Need works in countries across Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

PROMOTE AND ADVANCE EDUCATION BY ENCOURAGING PARTICIPATION IN ALL FORMS OF THE ARTS AND PROVIDING CULTURAL ENTERTAINMENT FOR THE LOCAL AND WIDER COMMUNITY

World of Worth is passionate about restoring dignity, hope and worth to women and girls. WOW supports women who have been marginalised, widowed & abandoned and provides opportunities for them to transform their world through education, training & micro businesses. Our aim is to help women become self-sustainable. WOW works in Uganda, Ethiopia, Mozambique, India, Philippines & Bulgaria.

Milton Village Community Association provides social and recreational facilities for local residents and friends at its premises known as Milton Village Hall. For example, activities such as keep fit classes, toddler groups, oap senior clubs etc. We also offer the hall as a private hire venue for people to hold children's parties. We also arrange social functions including outings and holidays.

Raising funds and dispensing grants to institutions which care for children with special needs and in particular to the "Aleh" institutions in Israel.

Scouting.

Scout Group

Sections for:Indoor and Outdoor Bowling, Tennis, Bridge, Snooker and Pool.Base for Nailsea Shedders.Venue for Line Dancing, Mothers and Toddlers on Wednesday morning, Nailsea Musicals on Wednesday evening, Nailsea and Backwell Rotary Club, Slimming World on Monday evening and Tuesday morning.

Within West Yorkshire, to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

Religious/Christian Church. Uniformed organisations, beavers, cubs, scouts, Inspire Youth, SEARCH activities, Congolese worship group, Romanian worship group, bowling club, WI, Sewing group (WEA), Band practise and other groups.

Promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Northway and the neighbourhood together, interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

Provision of a community centre in the heart of the town of Llandovery. It supports local people with help, advice and computer facilities. Many local groups and charities use the centre as their base in the area. Activities for young people include after school and youth clubs. Meeting rooms are available for hire and there is also an inter-generational garden.

Scouting for young people. support and training for adults to carry out relevant duties.

Community centre for providing social welfare, day care for the elderly and disabled and a meeting place serving meals etc for the inhabitants of Chinnor and surrounding parishes. Also provides meeting rooms for local businesses and social groups.

Parkside Pre-school is a community group that caters for children aged two to four, and their families during school term times. We offer children the opportunity to learn through play in a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment in a modern purpose-built setting with a secure garden. Parkside Pre-school is run by a parent/carer management committee.

Raises funds by letters of appeal, organises small fundraising events. We purchase equipment for the hospital & also acts as liaison between Rambam and the Homerton Hospital in Hackney, London, in the exchange programme of nurses and other medical personnel.

The North London Buddhist Centre offers courses and classes in Meditation, Buddhism, Yoga and other activities to promote health, happiness and well-being. Its aim is to develop a Buddhist practice community in the city relevant to our lives in the 21st Century.It is part of an international network of the Friends of the Western Buddhist Order, which has over 80 centres world-wide.

A variety of activities are available including - IT Training, Internet Access, Support Groups, Over 50's Lunch Club, Ladies & Mens Night, Beauticians Course, DJ'ing, Chair Repair project, Table Tennis & BadmintonA hall & different sized conference rooms available for hire. A cafe, self service laundrette & charity shop is available. Community events such as discos & holiday clubs are provided.

To establish a Community Centre and to maintain and manage this Centre for the activities promoted by the Association.To promote the benefits of the inhabitants of Brightlingsea by associating local authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation.

To raise money for the purchase of equipment and amenities for the benefit of both patients and staff in our local hospitals and in the community.

The charitable organisation provides religious and educational facilities as well as providing a focal point for the local community by allowing the use of it site for community activities and projects.

Provision of Community Centre, Support for local community

The Association promotes for the benefit of the inhabitants of Lyndhurst and the surrounding area the advancement of education, social welfare, recreation and leisure activities. The Association operates a centre which provides a number of meeting rooms and office services for the use of community groups, individuals and commercial organisations.

Greater London South County Scout Council, known as South London Scouts, supports and manages Scouting across the London Boroughs of Bexley, Bromley, Royal Greenwich, Lewisham, Southwark, Lambeth, & Wandsworth. Providing strategic direction and operational support to its member Scout Districts which mirror the London Borough boundaries.

The promotion of benefit for the inhabitants of Stubbington and Hill Head Wards of Fareham Borough Council in association with local autorities and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide recreation and leisure facilities.
