The charity exists for the furtherance of personal development and all other scouting activities

Rooms are hired for private functions and for regular group activities e.g chess, keep fit, over 60's, slimming world, spanish, Mah Jong, church groups, astronomy, council meetings.

TO ADVANCE EDUCATION OF SCHOOL BY PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE LOCAL EDUCATION AUTHORITY.

Scout Group consisting of one Beaver colony, one Cub pack and one Scout troop.

The charity continues to raise funds and distribute them in line with its objectives.It continues to be run by members of the Rotary Club of Hitchin Priory.

Local Girlguiding Division giving girls and young women a space where they can be themselves, have fun, build friendships, gain valuable life skills and make a positive difference to their lives and their community. Manage the day-to-day running of Eastleigh Division Guide Headquarters and fund raising required for this.

TO HELP YOUNG PEOPLE TOWARDS RESPONSIBLE ADULTHOOD BY ENCOURAGING VALUABLE PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND HIGH STANDARDS OF CONDUCT, USING A NAUTICAL THEME BASED ON THE CUSTOMS OF THE ROYAL NAVY. ACTIVITES INCLUDE:SWIMMING,WATER SPORTS,DRILL,EXPEDITION TRAINING,AND MANY MORE.

Promoting the benefits of the inhabitants of Ilkley and neighbourhood by advancing education & facilities for social welfare in recreation and leisure time occupation. Through co-operation with the local statutory authority & other local organisations securing the establishment, maintenance & management of a youth and community centre to further the association's objects.

General Charitable activities

To provide support and development of young persons through pursuits via weekly meetings and nights away through camping to secure an indepandant and confident approach in activities a young person may never have encountered. Team work is strongly encompassed in many activities and at all times the long established spirit of the scouting association is promoted.

Tivetshall Village Hall is hired out for meetings, functions, private parties, scout groups, sports and fitness clubs, and other similar activities. The trustees operate a pop-up community cafe twice a month.The Village Hall Management Committee and its trustees are responsible for the day-to-day running, maintenance and upkeep of the Hall.

The 1st Cheadle Heath 'Elks Own' Scout Group's activities are aimed at children from the age of six to fourteen years of age and are based on following the policies and principles of the Scout Movement.

Scouting and Guiding for Young people and children

The object of the Charity is to apply both the capital and interest thereof to the Trust Fund (from monies donated or through fundraising)to or for the relief of the poor and needy both locally and worldwide or to such other charitable purpose, institution or society or object as the Club shall in duly constituted meetings from time to time direct

Lions voluteer their time to humanitarian causes helping those less fortunate than themselves. They particularly focus on their local community in the belief that those who live in a community are in the best position to know who needs help and why. Wherever there is suffering from natural, or man made, disasters you can count on Lions Club members to provide help. Our motto is "WE SERVE".
