The aim of Scouting is to help young people (age 6 upwards) achieve their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential as individuals, as responsible citizens and members of their local, national and international communities. We meet weekly and provide a fun way for children to make new friends and enjoy an exciting programme of activities.

A wide range of activities take place including: I.T. Training, Youth Clubs, Private Parties, Elderly Day Centre, Celebration of various festivals, Community meetings, Painting Classes, Knitting workshop, Scouts and Church Groups

Senior & Junior Football, Senior & Junior Cricket, coaching of Football & Cricket for all ages.Other activities include playtime activities (Games) for Children who do not participate in the above. We also provide a Social area for all ages.

Staxton Village is the non profit making village hall in Staxton & Wilerby, where community activities for all age groups can take part. the hall is for anyone to hire for community activities. We have regular old time dancing for the retired, and we provide a monthly two course lunch, and a monthly film show. The hall is maintained to a very high level and is admired by all visitors.

Fund raising for school...fair,plant sale,easter egg hunt etc

Fund raising to provide finance for the upkeep, improvement and maintainance of the building fabric and churchyard of the Parish Church of St Margaret The Queen Buxted.

Our mission is to allow our young members explore the wide range of activities that are available to them; From a simple hiking through to a sport or camping and associated scouting activities.

Providing human and financial assistance to charitable needs locally, nationally and internationally.

Offley Hay Village Hall provides facilities for local organisations and residents to get together. Regular users include Bridge Club, Art Group, Men's Keep Fit, Tia Chi, Women's Institute and Ladies Circle. It is also used for one off hire e.g. parties, weddings, Caravan Club weekends etc..

SCOUTING

The Area Scout Council supports Scouting and Scout Units in the county of Carmarthenshire

The Scout Group provides volunteers (both adults and young leaders) and facilities for local young people to enjoy the education, experiences and adventures of Scouting and Guiding both indoors and on the grounds around the Group Headquarters. Visiting Scout Groups, Guide Groups, Schools, Youth Groups and local families can book and use the facilities during the year.

The purpose of the charity is to assist in maintaining, preserving, repairing and restoring St. James' Church, Weybridge, Surrey and its furniture, fittings, ornaments and fabric.

The group runs a unit of the Scout Association. The Aim of the Scout Association is to promote the development of young people in achieving the full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials. The method of achieving the Aim of the Association is by providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training, based on the Scout Promise and Law and guided by adult leaders.

The Holyhead Sea Cadet Unit serves to provide young people with a variety of activity, training and fun activities related to maritime practices. The cadets are regularly involved in community activities and fund raising for their purposes and alo for local charities. The unit serves many young people who live in an area of serious economic and employment challenges.

By associating voluntary groups and organisations, and individuals, provides facilities for recreation and leisure time occupation, with the object of improving conditions of life for those individuals.

Various activities throughout school year to include annual christmas fayre and shopping day, summer fete, school cinema and school disco.

To provide funds in support of the upkeep for St Catherine's Parish Church, Ludham.

General fund raising on local areas

We are the umbrella body for Guiding activities in Alcester and the surrounding area (known as Alcester & the Avon Villages). Our activities aim to enable girls and young women to develop their potential and make a difference to the world

Scouting Association

The Object of the Association is to relieve patients and former patients of the Whitchurch Hospital and other invalids in the Community who are sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped, infirm or in need of financial assistance and, generally, to support the charitable work of the said Hospital.
