Scouting for young people

Iwade Village Hall provides a meeting place for the residents of Iwade and of the surrounding area.The Hall facilitates community activities such as: Rainbows, Cubs, Beavers, Scouts, Clubs, WI, Nurseries, Dancing, Keep Fit and as a venue for private gatherings, assemblies, presentations etc.This list is not restrictive, neither is the use of the Hall solely limited to the residents of Iwade.

Scouting - Beavers, Cubs and Scout sections.As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week the 8th Aldershot (Church of Ascension) Scout Group gives young people of Aldershot and the surrounding area the opportunity to enjoy fun an adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

Camping and other outdoor activities, training and education plus suitable games for young people aged 6 to 14

Provide premises for activities in the village of Broom

Raising Money to help support our school to fund additional activities and equipment purchases, in order to enrich our children's educational experience.

Scouting

The charity's purpose is to use both capital and income for the relief of the poor and needy, or to or for such other charitable purpose, institution,society or object shall at a duly constituted meeting from time to time direct.

We administer, manage and facilitate our hall for community activities and meetings, including a choir and dance classes, garden club, history group, lunch club for the elderly, the Church in Oakridge, W.I. etc. The trust holds fundraising events, Film Nights, and lets the hall for educational, community functions, family parties, children's parties, annual village show, and drama productions.

General Charitable purposes

We provide support & activities for all members of the Scout movement; 1 Beaver Colony,1 Cub Pack and 1 Scout Troop.

Community activities for both young and elderly. Pre-school, toddlers, tai-chi, pilates. Parties. Music. South Ferriby is situated in the 'low villages' of N. Lincolnshire. We are a rural, farming community and the Village Hall is a lifeline to many.

The aim of the North Northumberland Scouts is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

Promoting scouting within the kent area to the youth. Outdoor activities, climbing, walking, archery and camping. Indoor activities, badge work and meetings.

Provide recreational activities as part of the Scout Association.
