THE HALL IS A COMMUNITY CENTRE FOR THOSE WHO RESIDE IN THE THREE VILLAGES OF SUTTON,BARLAVINGTON AND BIGNOR. IT IS ALSO AVALIABLE FOR HIRE BY PEOPLE LIVING OUTSIDE THE AREA.THE HALL IS USED BY GROUPS SUCH AS THE W.I.,PARISH CHURCH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH COUNCIL FOR MEETINGS AND THE HALL'S COMMITTEE PUT ON VARIOUS SOCIAL ACTIVITIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE THREE VILLAGES.

Scout Association programme for 4 to 14 years old.As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life and a place to belong. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, the 4th Widnes Scout Group gives young people the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

Grants to 1) Disabled & Elderly People's clubs 2) Disadvantaged/disabled Young People organisations 3) young persons undertaking missions/projects abroad 4) Promising Young People in sport.Youth Leadership Awards.Grants to Rotary Foundation UK & other Rotary Projects.Orphanage project in KenyaAwards to young persons for outstanding achievement.

Youth organisation

Parents, teachers and other interested parties charity formed in order to support and raise funds primarily for West Jesmond Primary School.

Various family and community events are held throughout the year to raise funds which are donated to Mersea Island School to purchase equipment and fund educational activities to benefit the pupils.

Judo Club, Wine Circle, Library, Women's Institute, Dance Groups, Film Club.Informative talks, and various social activities including annual Village Fayre, occasional theatre production.Children's parties.

To provide scouting, at Beaver, Cub and Scout levels for children living in Oakworth and surrounding area.

Chaddesley Corbett Village Hall offers services to residents of the Parish of Chaddesley Corbett and surrounding areas. Clients pay a modest fee for use of a first class meeting venue, with 4 separate rooms available for meetings, keep fit, pilates, slimming, training, amateur dramatics, playschool, guides, WI meetings, Gardening Club, and many others.

Coventry Sea Cadets are a uniformed, disciplined youth movement based upon the customs and traditions of the Royal Navy. Our aim is: To help young people towards responsible adulthood by encouraging valuable personal attributes and high standards of conduct using a nautical theme based on naval customs and seamanship based training.

To advance the musical education of students at schools and colleges in the Southampton region by providing facilities and funds for the Southampton Youth Orchestras which are not normally provided by Southampton City Council.

Mountain Ash YMCA is dedicated to helping and supporting young people and welcomes all. We achieve this by running a Youth Club, Young Adults Carers Project, Emergency Accommodation Unit and a Community Learning Centre. We also run a Youth Engagement project.

We support Fort Royal Community Primary School, a generic special school for children with a range of learning, physical, social and emotional needs aged 2-11.

SEMINGTON VILLAGE HALL situated in the High St .Used by Post Office 2 mornings a week. Local Bridge club use it twice weekly. Coffee mornings onThursday at 10am. Bingo in the club lounge 7.30pm on Mondays.Skittles are played by 3 ladies and 3 mens teams in the winter and by a mixed team in the summer. The W.I. Zumba dance and the Stompers also are regulars.
