The purpose of Scouting is to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

Providing funds for educational tools, books and equipment for school pupils. Donations made to local charities.

Provide and maintain facilities for village activities including education classes, social events, over 50's monthly lunches and a 'Drop in Centre'. Organise advice on availability of social services, and arrange volunteer transport to medical appointments, for elderly residents. Fund raising is regularly undertaken to provide funds for these activities.

OUR PURPOSE IS TO INSPIRE WOMEN AND GIRLS. WE RAISE FUNDS AND SUPPORT OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY AND CREATE AN INTERESTING, ENJOYABLE AND INCLUSIVE ENVIRONMENT FOR OUR MEMBERS.

Funds are raised through a variety of events such as:- Christmas and Summer fayres, school disco, quiz nights, easter competition/parade, sale of items at the school, lotteries and raffles.

Padstow Sea Cadets [MSSC]is a uniformed, disciplined youth movement open to young people aged 10-18 years regardless of sex, religion or race. Training uses a national theme based upon the customs of the Royal Navy and helps them towards responsible adulthood by encouraging valuable personal attributes and life skills. Training is given to develop various skills which lead to national certs.

Raise funds via donations from Rotary Clubs, Inner Wheel Clubs, Other Organisations & Private Individuals which are used to finance limb camps & limb centres in Africa, the Indian Sub-Continent & other areas in need of help.

THE OBJECTIVES OF 54th PORTSMOUTH SCOUT GROUP ARE AS A UNIT OF THE SCOUT ASSOCIATION. THE PURPOSE OF THE SCOUTING IS TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN ACHIEVING THEIR FULL PHYSICAL,INTELLECTUAL,SOCIAL AND SPIRITUAL POTENTIALS, AS INDIVIDUALS, AS RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS AND AS MEMBERS OF THEIR LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITIES.

The Club organises events to raise money to help individuals and organisations at home and abroad in a variety of ways, eg by providing aqua boxes to produce drinkable water, shelter boxes (tents etc.) in disaster ares of the world and financing the digging of wells. It also uses funds to sponsor the youth of Thanet in various way, i.e direct sponsorship, RYLA, art competition and school proms.

Village Hall. Situated in a rural area and offers a central point for the residents of that area. Offers social events; across the range of age groups e.g. Brownies and Rainbows to the Over Sixties club; interests, balllroom dancing, quilting; resouces, houses the mobile post office. Operates as a venue to raise funds for services and provision in the village.We now offer post office services

General fundraising activities for extra curricular school activities and resources

Weekly Scouts, Art group, Yoga, Shortmat bowls, Table Tennis, Monthly Parish Council meetings, Films,Jazz Nights twice per year.Snooker table always available and hall is used by locals for parties, table sales, training days, public lectures, Christmas Market and other church functions,concerts.

Provision of a building for youth activities specifically those under 25

To support local units of girl guides, brownies and rainbows.

FOFPS exists to raise money from Parents and organisations, with which to make grants / donations to Fairlop Primary School to provide additional facilities / services to the children who are enroled there.

To promote the education of girls and young women to help them develop emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually so that they can make a positive contribution to their community and the wider world.

Charity is a Parent fund raising organisation for St Philips Roman Catholic Primary School Arundel. Funds raised through School Summer and Christmas Fairs and social events for both parents and children.

Every year we help 400,000 young people in the UK enjoy new adventures; to experience the outdoors; interact with others, gain confidence and have the opportunity to reach their full potential.Working alongside our youth members are thousands of adult volunteers, with a huge variety of roles and opportunities available.

Scout Group.

The objectives of the Association is to relive patients and former patients of the Evesham Community Hospital and other invalids in the community who are sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped, infirm or in need of assisance and generally, to support the charitable work of the Evesham Community Hospital.

The Community Association brings together the members of the local community by providing facilities to engage and interact and make a difference to the social and cultural wellbeing of the community
