The association manages a community centre and supports the centres users. We arrange fund raising events and social functions for the benefit of the people of Wednesfield.

Formed to Support the Sea Cadets Corps in men and materials and Bursaries

FRIENDS OF ARDLEY HILL ACADEMY. WE AIM TO RAISE FUNDS FOR THE SCHOOL SO THAT THEY MAY PURCHASE ITEMS THAT WILL BENEFIT AND ENHANCE PUPIL'S ACADEMIC LIFE AT THE SCHOOL.

The trust fund maximises the benefit of Pershore Rotary Club's fund raising activities. The trust fund makes donations & grants to organisations operating within the spheres of health, community care, water provision & education locally and internationally; payments are normally toward capital projects. The accounts list each organisation in receipt of a grant/donation during the financial year.

The WI plays a unique role in providing women with educational opportunities and the chance to build new skills, to take part in a wide variety of activities and to campaign on issues that matter to them and their communities.

A variety of land based activities including camping skills, sport, art and craft, general knowledge and community service.

Scouting exists to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society.

Whitley Bay Sea Cadets strive to give young people from our region a head start in life through nautical adventure and fun. Whether at sea or on land, we offer 10-18 year olds amazing opportunities for personal development - by learning new skills and working in teams - we offer an environment where they can find new confidence and inspiration.

Run Beaver, Cub and Scout groups in the village of Fremington, North Devon

The provision of buildings, facilities and open space for use by local and wider community for a range of recreation/sports and other activities. i.e. art/lace making/karate/dance/aerobics classes. Indoor bowls, tumble tots (pe for infants). WI/Towns Women's Guild, parish council. Police & community meetings. Parties/weddings etc. Conferences/exhibitions, polling station (elections).

Organising events for pupils, parents and staff to generate income which can in turn be donated to the school to further the charity's objects.

The Friends of Bishop Henderson School are a group of volunteers (both parents and teachers) who organise activities/events to raise funds, which provide grants to the school for spending on purchasing equipment & facilities to advance the education of our children.

The main activities for this year have been to follow the Guiding programmes for each section as set by The Guide Association

The purpose of Scouting is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

Evening meetings of scouts, cubs, beavers and explorers and some additional weekend and pack holiday activities. Varied programme of work within the community organised by leaders and carried out by boys and girls aged 6-16.
