Provides Scouting activities for Beavers, Cubs & Scouts

PTA ACTIVITIES EG XMAS & SUMMER FAYRES, DISCOS, ICE POP SALES, QUIZ NIGHTS

We are a group of approximately 40 volunteers, who in consultation with our hospital trust, serve in the hospital. We generate income from this work and this is spent in the hospital or on health related items for the benefit of patients.

An Organisation that contributes to the developement of young people in achieving their full physical,intellectual,social and spiritual potentials as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

Village Hall for hiring for various activities including Social Club, Meetings, Bowls, Keep Fit, Pilates, Childrens Soft Play, Music and Movement, Friday Market, Luncheon Club etc.

Provide facilities for Pre-School playgroup, Church Groups ,Social Dancing Whist ,Brownies, Model Railway Club Jumble sales, parties and Quizzes to raise money for charties

The Trust assists a wide variety of organisations, financing the cost from personal contributions, donations and fund raising activities

Education/training of children/young people, sport and recreation.Provides open space facilities and buildings.

Visits to places of interest and exhibitions. Guest speakers on antiques, fashion, legal matters, history, health and beauty. Craft activities such as card and patchwork etc. Social activities such as coffee mornings, garden parties and meals out. Interaction with other WI groups. Community involvement.

Girlguiding enables girls and young women to fulfil their potential and to take an active and responsible role in society through its distinctive, stimulating and enjoyable programme of activities delivered by trained volunteer leaders.Rainhill Guide House Management Committee manages the property known as Rainhill Guide House on behalf of 1st Rainhill Guides.

The provision of a Sea Cadet Unit for young people between the ages of 10 and 18 in the Exeter ans surrounding area.

A local venue for the residents of the parishes of Burnham Deepdale and Brancaster Staithe to hold club meetings (bridge, camera, carpet bowls, school events, W.I., country dancing etc.) and private meetings (wedding, christening, etc.). The village hall is the only such venue available to parishioners. To supplement the limited income from parishioners the hall is sometimes let out commercially.

FUND RAISING FOR OLD HALL JUNIOR SCHOOL. PRIMARILY THROUGH TWO FAIRS AND OTHER SMALLER ACTIVITIES DURING THE YEAR LIKE SCHOOL DISCOS

Mainly local causes, we do not donate to national charities normally, also overseas causes where we have local knowledge.

Provides volunteers and facilities for local young people to enjoy the adventures of scouting and guiding throughout the year.

Hiring of a Village Hall for a range of community activities

Fully participated in the principles of Scouting, outdoor and indoor activities ages 6 to 18. Additional fund raising, Annual Race Night. Group events have been very successful. The aim is to fund an equipment replacement and to look towards developing our headquarters.

To help young people achieve their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual development as individuals, as responsible citizens and as a member of their local, national and international communities.

Hold weekly sequence dancing nights, short mat bowls in winter, three different styles of karate, three different probus groups meet at the centre, private hire, keep fit groups, two different styles of line dancing each week.

To promote the physical, intellectual, spiritual and social development of the members.To provide a base from which Scouting and the Development of Scouting can take place.
