Associations Charities

Activities include art, craft, music, cooking, first aid, sports, outdoor pursuits & camps, all ran in conjunction with a progressive badge system, which is available to boys and girls aged 6-14 years, with the object of instructing them in the principles of discipline, loyalty and good citizenship. Meetings: Mon 7.00pm Band, Weds 5.45pm Beavers, 7pm Cubs, Thurs 7.30pm Guides, Fri 7pm Scouts.

To raise funds for the education and well being of the children of Monken Hadley CE School.

Organise various fundraising events/activities throughout the year including a well supported Summer Fayre, family events such as chocolate bingo at Easter & Christmas. Host film nights, cake bakes, fashion show evenings etc. Run end of term events such as School Discos & Non-uniform days for all year groups. Offer pre-loved uniform rail throughout the year & seasonal item pop up swap shops.

Provides a voluntary group for young people aged 10-26 with interests in the countryside, animals, enviroment and rural skills & issues through enablement, training and the provision of related social activities

The Rest Room is let to various pensioners groups (including Age Concern) for social activities

We raise money to fund extra equipment and activities for the school.

Villagehall used for various activities within the community - i.e. meetingS, birthday parties and Nursery school ,Camera Club, Sewing Club, Womens Institute, Merched y Wawr,Religious Services, 5 yr old boys football training(Sat morning) Political meetings & Polling station. Band practise, Dance classes.

1ST BRIDPORT SCOUT GROUP ARE MEMBERS OF THE SCOUT ASSOCIATION, AND WE RECEIVE "GIFT AIDS".

Scouting

Assisting the Dean and Chapter in furthering the religious and charitable work of Chester Cathedral by supporting the spiritual life, work and worship, and maintaining, improving, adding to and repairing the fabric, fittings, furniture, ornaments, services and music.

Financial and practical support to local and national organisations and groups of people in need. Financial support to people affected by international disasters (e.g. Earthquakes, Tsunamis) and to other charities concerned with the welfare of people in need in countries overseas.

To assist the young and elderly in the locality, and support a number of national and international causes.

Fund raising and social activities for the church community and other charitable organisations

Provide facilities for recreational,educational and social activities in the community of Staple and surrounding villages. Village Hall available for hire as venue for private functions;some catering facilities and equipment included.

The purpose of the charity is to create, raise and administer a fund to be used for making financial contributions towards any one or more of the maintenance, repair, restoration and replacement (which may include an element of improvement) of, and to legal obligations to, the structure, the fixtures and the fittings of All Saints' Church, Odiham, together with its churchyard.

THE OBJECTS OF THE ASSOCIATION SHALL BE TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS OF THE SCHOOL BY PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR EDUCATION, INCLUDING RELIGIOUS EDUCATION, NOT OTHERWISE PROVIDED BY THE LOCAL EDUCATION AUTHORITY.

The Unit aims to train and develop both its young people and its volunteer instructors to enable them to compete and be prepared for an ever-changing, competitive and demanding world. Fundraising for Rhws Primary School in Rhoose to provide funds to purchase teaching resources as well as resources that support the wellbeing of all pupils.

Fund raising via quizzes, summer fayres, cake sales, fireworks and other village related activities. Main aim is to raise funds to provide additional resources and activities for the children of Gamlingay Village Primary.
