To support and assist the Towner Art Gallery.To encourage and foster the appreciation of the arts in Eastbourne by the organisation of meetings, exhibitions, concerts, lectures and other related activities.To supplement the facilities provided at the Towner Art Gallery by the Borough Council.

Collect and distibute funds locally and internationally according to the ideals of Rotary International

To provide a progresive training and fun experience for young people aged between 6 and above.

Scout Group

The group offers all the usual activities of a Scout Group for children from age 7 years up to young leaders of 18 years plus.

The Charity was formed to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual and spiritual potential as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities. The group holds weekly meetings for Beaver Scouts, Cub scouts, Scouts and Explorer scouts where they can pursue activities relevant to their age group.

To assist with fundraising to support the requirements of the school, not met by the LEA

General fundraising for local and overseas charities. Supporting local community.

Line dancing, Mums & Tots, Scouts, Dog Shows, Bird Shows, Caravan Clubs, Bingo, Rabbit Club, Weight Watchers, Luncheon Club, Childrens Discos, Playgroup, Private Bookings for Parties and other functions etc

Raising Funds in the local community for both local and international charitable giving. We are part of the Rotary International Organisation.Community activities include our annual Christmas street collection which benefits local charities, a 'Top of the Form' competition for local schools and other community and charity fund raising events

Scout, Cubs, Beavers and Explorer group. Weekly meetings for children in the area of Kingsteignton, to have fun and learn about themselves and the world we live in, to gain knowledge and experience in activaties such as camping, hiking, rock climbing archery etc.

Hornchurch and Upminster Sea Cadets is a uniformed organisation for young people aged 10 to 18 years of age. The Unit provides skills, knowledge and education through training and activities that are underpinned by the Marine Society and Sea Cadet curriculum with a Royal Naval ethos. Throughout their Sea Cadet experience the Cadets are able to gain qualifications and skills for life.

FUND RAISING VIA SCHOOL EVENTS

Raising funds through Summer, Christmas & May Fayres and school discos.

To promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials as individuals and as responsible citizens.

Craft, Drama, Book Groups, Skittles, Walks, Table Tennis, Outings, Produce Groups and Art Group. Members help provide a third Sunday lunch and a first Friday lunch. Cakes and Jams for Macmillan Coffee morning and other charities. Large entry at New Forest Show. Knitted items for Samaritans Purse Shoeboxes. Strong support for Village Community Centre; members take part in Christmas Pantomime.

To provide a safe venue for residents of Clapham & Newby for meetings, social and educational and other community activities.

We organise a range of activities throughout the year to raise funds for the school. Last year we held a Summer Gala and a Christmas Fayre. We have lots of ideas in the pipeline for the forthcoming year.

Maintenance of Church building

We provide community facilities for local residents, to access activities and opportunities through the use of a community centre. These activities include celebrations, events, clubs and support groups. We also provide volunteering opportunities and community projects through our association to help support our community and promote community cohesion.

Girlguiding is dedicated to creating a better world for girls and young women. We empower girls, we give them space to grow and we ensure hat each one of them can get involved - no matter what their background or ability. Hertford District Guide Association, also known as Girlguiding Hertford District provides local Girlguiding activities in Hertford and local villages.
