Associations Charities

The charity maintains the hall providing space and supporting local social activities and groups in the community.

We provide assistance to those who are in need, whether young, middle aged or senior, locally,nationally and internationally dependant on their situation and our funds available.

Provide local community hall for ballet classes, pre school, horticultural society, WI, whist club & parties etc. Charity is responsible for maintenance of the hall.

Providing grants for the betterment of the children's education and play at The Trinity School.

Service to the community, both locally and internationally

To raise money from the local community by holding fundraising events. To finance and run a minibus adapted for the disabled and seniors. To assist local organisations and individuals with donations. To support Lions International Programme in supporting major, national and international relief for incidents and to include both nationally and internationally Sightsavers and Water aid.

General Scouting activities

Raising funds for Norton C of E School

Trustees administer hall for the benefit of the local community, i.e Nursery School, WI, Over 60's Club, Keep Fit, Brownies etc. Community Fund Raising Suppers, Childrens Parties, Dance Groups, Polling Station.

We provide a hall for WI, guides, brownies, rainbows and the general public. Activities include a dance school, childrens parties, and various clubs. We cater for all ages. The hall is run by the trustees, together with representatives from the various organisations that use the hall.

1. Support for all the aims and activities of the Museum and Art Gallery in every way possible. 2. Provision of financial help for the acquisition of additions to the collections. 3. A series of seven lectures during the year. 4. About 3 outside trips per annum to museums, galleries, national trust properties etc.

VARIOUS SOCIAL EVENTS INCLUDING SCHOOL FAIRS, DANCES, QUIZ NIGHTS AND FASHION SHOWS.

To enable women to improve and develop conditions of rural life, to advance their education in citizenship, music, drama and other cultural subjects and in all branches of agriculture, handicrafts, home economics, health & social welfare. Hammerwich WI Hall is also available to other groups within the community for meetings and social and recreational activities.

We are a Scout Group operating in Retford. We are open to anyone from the age of 4 up to 18 years old, boys and girls, and adults can volunteer as leaders, parent helpers or committee members.

General fundraising through organising and arranging specific events such as a Golf day, Beer Festival, Comedy Events, Christmas Grotto, Dance in a Barn etc.

Scouting activies for boys and girls

To raise funds to provide additional equipment for our hospital - over and above that supplied by the NHS.

Raising funds for additional facilities/equipment/educational activities for the pupils of Stamfordham Primary School. The activities held throughout the year usually include: Christmas Fair, Easter Event, Summer Fair, children's disco, Campout, and monthly cake stalls as well as providing refreshments at some school functions.

We are a social club and have a Table Tennis section

Scout Group-Beavers,Cubs,Scouts and Explorer Scouts

Working with all groups in the community and surrounding areas: craft, children's parties, family entertainment, fitness and wellbeing, music, raising awareness of heritage and a variety of fund raising events. Mostly held at the Village Hall, Heyrod.

The women's institute provides support and education for women world wide.

Provide facilities and social events for the inhabitants of Frogmore and to run and maintain the Frogmore Village Hall.

We help young people develop skills for life.

General fundraising to enable the Charity to support both Rotary International Charities and also local charities. Support is given both to groups and also individuals within the Sandy area and we are involved with educational support to local schools.
