Also a smaller room for committee meeting etc. Current activities include yoga, toddlers group, short mat bowls, WI, art class, keep fit class, karate for 6-16 yrs, table tennis also plays and other entertainment.

Provide activities for children from 6 - 14 years of age in line with the Scout Associations guidelines

Provide transport to & from health centre/hospital/dentist for referred patients. Collect & deliver prescriptions for housebound patients. Visit lonely or isolated patients. Prepare details for CRB. Sitting with someone to give carer a break. Monthly meeting for carers plus day to day support and three outings plus 1 dinner per annum. We are a school charity and we hold fund-raising events to purchase items for the school.

We change lives by offering 6 to 25-year-olds fun and challenging activities, unique experiences, everyday adventure and the chance to help others so that we make a positive impact in communities.Scout group-Beaver's Colony 6-8 yrs, Cub Pack 8-10.5 yrs, Scout Troop 10.5-14 yrs. Explorer Scouts 15-18 yrs.

The PTA/Friends of Charles Darwin School provide a service to the school by engagement and fundraising to help further the education and enhance the learning of pupils attending Charles Darwin School. The PTA/Friends exists to provide closer links between home and school bringing staff, parents, friends and the community together socially in support of our school.

THE PURPOSE OF SCOUTING IS TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN ACHIEVING THEIR FULL PHYSICAL,INTELLECTUAL,SOCIAL AND SPIRITUAL POTENTIALS, AS INDIVIDUALS, AS RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS AND AS MEMBERS OF THEIR LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITIES.

To provide support to Local Hospital in the form of financial assistance in purchasing various items of equipment which in turn will ensure a better quality of life is provided to all patients. The main form of support is the provision of Beds and medical Instruments etc..
