SCOUTING ACTIVELY ENGAGES AND SUPPORTS YOUNG PEOPLE IN THEIR PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT, EMPOWERING THEM TO MAKE A POSITIVE CONTRIBUTION TO SOCIETY.

We offer women of all ages the chance to enjoy and learn new skills - crafts, arts, public speaking, sport and other leisure activities. In addition we provide the opportunity for our members to be fully involved in local community issues.

ACT ON BEHALF OF CHILDREN AND PARENTS AT THE SCHOOL

Organising fund raising events, such as jazz concerts, garden parties etc. Organising charity collections at Christmas, such as house to house collections, street collections and store collections. Ensuring the proceeds are donated to Rotary charities at home and overseas, and other good causes that are charitable (see website).

The 'Friends Committee of Compton and Up Marden CE School' are a group of people who raise money for the school. Our aim is:1. To promote a close working relationship between parents, staff, children and the community.2. To raise funds to complement the school's resources.3. To help with activities which support the children's education.

Scout Group catering for children aged 6 to 18 .

To advance the education of pupils in the School in particular by developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the School; and engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the School and advance the education of the pupils.

St Paul's School Association organises events to raise funds to provide/assist in providing facilities/activities for advancing the education and providing recreation for the pupils of St Paul's School, Wokingham. It also organises/provides assistance with social activities for the children and parents of the school.

Developing the physical, intellectual, social & spiritual aspects of young people aged 6-14 to enable them to achieve their potential. This is done using the programmes, aims & values of The Scout Association.

The building is used by the people for learning, meetings, all types of social activities, theatre show/pantomimes, family disco, being a very large building it is now popular for weddings, parties and by impact for their exams. Our aim is to keep prices low to make it accessible for our community.

To provide village hall facilities and entertainment for the Village of Bradwell-on-Sea and its surrounding area. It is also provides a place for where local residance can meet for social activities.

South Normanton Scouts is part of the worldwide Scout movement. We try and up hold the Scouting motto and help young children understand responsibilities, self respect and respecting others, becoming trusting, self controlled and self confident young people.The Scout Group was founded in 1910 by Mr C Blackhurst and has developed into a strong group, having Beavers, Cubs and Scouts

FUNDRAISING FOR SCHOOL

The charity operates in Constantine, Cornwall. We offer opportunities for local women to enjoy friendship, to learn to widen their horizons, and together with the Federation to influence, local, national and International affairs.

To give financial assistance to Freemasons or their dependants who have been members of a Masonic Lodge in Kenya, Uganda or Tanzania.
