Associations Charities

The main objects of the Charity are:to encourage, foster and maintain the interests of the public in the Community Hospital in Thame;to provide personal service for and on behalf of patients of this hospital;to provide for patients and staff, amenities and comforts not provided by the National Health Service.

Bricks supports the collaboration of local communities, creative communities and social enterprises to ensure they have a strong voice in the city of Bristol, together instigating and delivering creative community activities and managing building assets for the long term.

CHURCH SERVICES AND COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES

To further the relief of poverty, hunger, distress and sickness through empowering Lions Clubs International Foundation. No defined area of benefit.

The trust is an unincorporated trust. The trust funds and income thereof are held upon such trusts and for such purposes as are exclusively charitable according to the laws of England.

Regular public worship open to all; Pastoral work including visiting sick and bereaved; Taking of religous assemblies in schools; Provision of youth clubs, social clubs for the elderly, nursery schools and supporting other charities in the UK and overseas.

To further or benefit the inhabitants of South Ham, West Ham and Berg Estates and neighbouring areas (hereinafter called the area of benefit) without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious or other opinions by associating together the said residents and the local authorities, voluntary organisations and other organisations

The support of the medical work carried out at the Sheba Medical Centre in the Tal Hashomer Hospital.

COMMUNITY CENTRE

FOPV was set up to help relieve poverty, sickness and malnutrition among children of the Kisoro district, S W Uganda. It aims to achieve this by funding a crisis centre, for the admission and nurture of abandoned and orphaned babies, and a medical centre for care of all local children up to age 12. It also assists with re-settlement and after care of children , in birth or foster families.

Organise events and band concerts in Ropner Park. Provide healthy home baked food and snacks in the cafe. Encourage recreational use of the park by individuals, families and groups. Encourage art, photographic groups and schools to use the park, portray their favourite scenes, and to display their work in the cafe if they wish. Liase with Stockton Council on future works and events within the park

Entraide (Mutual Aid) supports asylum seekers and refugees in Solihull and the West Midlands. We help them to access benefits, housing, education, training and employment as well as providing befriending and other social activities. We also work to reduce poverty in Africa (especially in Dem Rep of Congo) in the fields of education, health, livelihoods, agriculture, etc.

A community network mobilising young professionals to volunteer to support their older neighbours with a little extra time, practical help, social connection and human companionship in the London boroughs of Southwark and Lambeth. We operate 2 core activities: Social Clubs, which bring different demographics together through group activities; and a one-to-one Love Your Neighbour project.

The charity provides funds to support the health & welfare of hospital patients. Funds are raised by voluntary contribution at work, special fundraising events & bequests. Requests are received from NHS staff for support.

Raise funds and apply the funds of the Charity and any income thereof for the maintenance of the fabric of Christ Church and to promote and raise funds for other activities of benefit to the local community centred on the church.

We are a Disability therapy centre, providing complementary and mainstream therapies for people with Neurological conditions.

The range of services and activities offered include childrens nursery and workshops, bridge, trapeze classes, dance classes for children and adults, music session for under 4's, under 4's drop-in, yoga, life drawing, seniors yoga, Open House, evening talks, narcotics anonymous, children's ballet, members bar, community choir, councillors surgeries, lunch club. We also run a community library.

Brandwood Community Centre continues to serve as a very much needed community facility which acts as a focal point and is run by dedicated volunteers from the local community, with support from the local authority, private and other agencies to deliver a multi-functional community programme, that fulfills the role of a "one-stop-shop".

Aguda North West manages the Hershel Weiss Children and Family Centre, in partnership with Salford City Council. We provide services primarily, but not exclusively, for benefit of those of Orthodox Jewish persuasion. The main activities of the charity are centred around demonstrating God's love and care, mainly to the people of Hitchin and surrounding area, but also to the wider World. This is done both through the more conventional church work and through a variety of community activities.

Hanley Crouch is a multi-purpose community association based in the Tollington Ward of North Islington, in London.
