GENERAL CHARITABLE PURPOSES

To advance the education of the pupils of the School by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the School (not normally provided by the LEA).

The purpose of Scouting is to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

Assists the Conservators of Ashdown Forest to maintain the forest by provision of additional funds for specific items which they would otherwise not be able to afford.

Wallasey District Scout Council is part of the The Scout Association. The District comprises a number of individual Scout Groups, which provide Scouting activities for young people and adults.

Raising funds for the preservation of a Grade 1 Listed Church

Scouting exists to actively engage & support young people (Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorer & Network Scouts) in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society

To financially support any organisation, institution or fund which is established for charitable purposes. To relieve sickness and preserve health, advance education and prevent or relieve poverty or financial hardship, through activities that focus on supporting needs within Leicestershire and Rutland and to further such other charitable purposes as the Trustees may consider appropriate.

The current activity of the charity is to support Leatherhead Hospital by the donation of equipment as required, also to provide funds to preserve and enhance the fabric of the buildings in which the hospital is housed.To provide funds to enable hospital staff to attend medical conferences etc.

An educational charity for women, giving women of all ages, denomination & ethnicity the opportunity or working & learning together to improve the quality of life in their community & to enable them to develop their own skills & talents.

Activities as part of the scouting movement for boys and girls, with regular term time meetings for beavers, cubs, scouts and explorers in the Hatch End area.

The training of young people in teamwork and mutual respect. Activities include first aid,home safety, cooking and outdoor pursuits eg.football,swimming,camping, orienteering.

To provide a meeting place,and recreation ground, for local community activities and pastimes and therefore to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of the area.

To support, encourage and promote a vibrant, happy community spirit through the provision of an accessible, welcoming, safe and versatile space that is available for the enjoyment of a range of activities in Hatfield Peverel.

To provide support for adults in Scouting for the execution of their aims to provide for the mental, physical and spiritual welfare of young people between the ages of 6 -25

FOTS are a PTA run by volunteers to support and raise funds for Treetops School & College for children with special needs. We raise funds for specialist equipment, sensory toys, senior prom and much more. We do this by organising events such as Summer Fete, Xmas Bazaar, Race Night, Tribute Night, Parents Evening etc.

The charity provides counselling to the people of the Arun area.The charity provides supervision to the 32 counsellors who are members of the charity.The charity offers training workshops for ACC counsellors and counsellors in the area.The charity offers a Friends of Arun Counselling membership.Arun Counselling is accredited by the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy.

To support the work and development of the Botanic Garden and to stimulate interest through a variety of events and activities. Income generated by such events, and also from membership subscriptions, is used to invest in new projects in the garden, make a major contribution to its upkeep and support horticultural education through the funding of trainees in the garden.

We provide leisure, educational activities for the local community, and the wider community, at affordable prices.

Provide education and social activities for those people who are retired or in part-time employment

The trust provides facilities, finance, training, advice and encouragement for the promotion of scouting in the Tamworth area.

General Hire to groups such as: Playgroup, Beavers, Cubs, Guides, Scouts, Tennis, W.I., Parish Council Meetings, Band Practice, Drama, Dancing -Ballroom, Line, Ballet, U3A activities plus a number of other groups.Functions: Weddings, Birthdays, Dances, Education, Sales, Quizes, Shows and fund-raising events for other organisations.

To provide a safe and happy environment in which children can learn through play, making the transition from home to school as easy as possible for both the child and their parents. To provide a curriculum, which meets the requirements of Ofsted and the County Council, allowing progression from Playgroup into the Reception year and Key Stage 1 of the National Curriculum.
