To advance the education of pupils in Shellingford School by developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and other stakeholders and engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

OUR CHURCH PROVIDES CHRISTIAN WORSHIP SERVICES, AS WELL AS COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES, WHICH INCLUDES A YOUTH CLUB.

Girl Guiding Activities

We host a variety of activities and provide a venue for meetings of the Parish Council, the WI and other local organisations. The Management Committee runs a Morning Market on the last Saturday of each month and other community events. The hall is available for hire by members of the local community for private events and parties.

THE ASSOCIATION'S MAIN FUNCTION IS TO PROVIDE SUPPORT OF ANY KIND TO ST JOAN OF ARC CATHOLIC SCHOOL IN RICKMANSWORTH. IN ORDER TO CARRY OUT THIS FUNCTION THE ASSOCIATION'S ACTIVITIES INCLUDE THE PROVISION OF AT LEAST ONE FUNDRAISING EVENT EACH TERM. AT ALL TIMES THE ASSOCIATION SEEKS TO PROMOTE A STRONG WORKING RELATIONSHIP WITH THE HEAD TEACHER AND ALL OTHER TEACHERS AND STAFF OF THE SCHOOL.

To promote for the public benefit of the community of Washington and adjacent areas the permanent preservation and maintenance of Washington Old Hall as being a building of beauty and historic interest and the preservation and maintenance of the environs of the Hall.

The principal objective of the charity is to undertake fundraising activities and to distribute the monies raised to a range of local charitable organisations, to Rotary Foundation and through Rotary International and Rotary District appeals, to a range of projects including world disasters and famine relief.

The hall committee organises the everyday running of the hall, fundraising events for its upkeep, and annual community events .The hall, serves the community as the only meeting place in the village, and is used by groups of all ages. Hall user groups: table tennis,indoor bowls,boccia,photography,yoga/pilates,tai chi,art,WI,brownies/rainbows,soup lunch,fundraising events, private hire, polling.

We set out to provide education/training, sport/recreation to children/young people in a fun and disciplined manner.

We are a Sea Cadet unit serving Chichester and surrounding areas and a member of the Nation wide Sea Cadet Corps. We have volunteer uniformed and civilian male and female staff who train male and female Sea Cadets aged between 10 and 18 in the traditions and skills of the Royal Navy, Royal Marines and the sea, including character and leadership training, canoeing, sailing and handling motor boats.
