SCOUTING ACTIVITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

Provides Scout Association activities for young people in the local area

Fund raising through various activities in the South Wales area. These include organised raffles, where the appropriate local authority licence is held.

The object of the charity is the provision of funds to or for the relief of the poor and needy or to or for such other charitable purpose, institution society or object, as the rotary club of Holmfirth shall, in duly constituted meeting, from time to time decide.

A Scout Group is based in a local community and usually consists of Squirrel Scouts, Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts and Scouts. Sticker Scout Group has Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. We provide Skills4Life to over 100 young people every week.

fund raising for the enhancement of the museum.events arranged to raise the public profile.assist with running the programme of events organised by the Museum staff.

Our Scouting provides Activities each week for young people from the ages of 6years to 14years.They have the opportunity to attend Camps(experiencing Kayaking,Horse Riding,Swimming,).and also to go on visits and outings as well as helping them to acheive confidence and build up social skills.

To assist disabled children and their carers through funding, or part-funding, the provision of specialist equipment not currently afforded by statutory authorities.To help provide funding for courses seminars and conferences for parents and carers.

The Trust has a policy of supporting the efforts of Rotary International (RI)in the fulfillment of the Object of Rotary. Rotary mission is the achievement of world understanding and peace through local, national and international humanitarian, educational and cultural programmes. The Trust also focuses on the needs of the local community through charities, organisations and specific individuals.
