GIRL LED PROJECTS, PROMOTING SELF ESTEEM, AWARENESS AND COMMUNITYDuring 2014 the District obtained funding from The Big Lottery Fund and Girlguiding West Sussex in order to carry out essential refurbishment to the outer cladding of the Guide HQ. The work was carried out and completed during January/February 2015.

Running of village community centre for village activities and for groups to hire

We provide grants of an educational nature and space for community activities

To advance the education of the pupils of the school by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the school (not normally provided by the LEA), and ancillary to this, to foster more extended relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school; and to engage in activities which support the school and advance the education of the pupils there

Our aim is to support the school in furthering our children's education through raising money and contributing to school activities and events.

To advance the education of pupils in the school, by developing effective relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school and engaging in activities or providing facilities and equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

Organising social events and other fund raising in support of the School

The Scout Association is a vital part of many communities providing a challenging and rewarding experience especially to the young. This Scout Group is run entirely by unpaid volunteers and relies heavily on its own money raising efforts, on grants and awards and on the generosity of the local community.

ORGANISES EVENTS AND RAISES FUNDS FOR OVERSTRAND PRIMARY SCHOOL

Art & Craft Classes, Short Mat Bowls, Country & Tap Dancing, Exercise classes, Niton W.I., Niton & Whitwell Horticultural Society, The Pepperpot Players Amateur Dramatic Club, Yoga Sunshine Club, Community Coffee Mornings, Table Tennis, Private Hire

Various fundraising i.e. fete, quiz's, sponsor events to raise money for additional equipment i.e. computers, pa equipment, classroom equipment.

Scouting as defined by the Scout Association.

Objective is to raise funds for general charitable purposes, making grants available to individuals and organisations and general public
