Penygraig Community Project develops facilities to support children, young people and families living in Penygraig and neighbourhood creating opportunities for play, youth and community activities.

Friends of Lorton School Association provides volunteer and financial support to Lorton Primary School to enhance the education and personal development of the children.

FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES I.E. SUMMER & CHRISTMAS FAIRS, DISCOS ETC. TO RAISE MONEY TOWARDS EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES & TO PROVIDE FUN ACTIVITIES FOR THE CHILDREN IN OUR SCHOOL.

To provide appropriate activities and equipment of the school and it's pupils. We hold a Summer fete & Christmas Fayre along with other events to supplement funds for the school.

To help to educate, develop and enhance local childrens life and to be involved in the surrounding areas sports, outdoor activities and fund raising activities.

A community centre for use by various groups and organisations to enhance the lives of people on Woodloes Park. Regular users include - Senior Citizens, Mothers and Toddlers, Townswomens Guild, Weight Watchers, Belly Dancing, Pilates, Community Choir, Youth Theatre, Youth Club.

To or for the relief of poor and distressed Brother Masons and their dependants,or for the benifit of such Masonic charities or other Charitable Institutions,Societies and objects as the Lodge shall in a duly constituted meeting from time to time direct.
