The objective of the Club is to provide a mixture of social, welfare and recreational facilities and leisure time occupation for the inhabitants of the Area Of Benefit (Mapleton and the surrounding neighbourhood) for the purpose of improving the quality of life and sense of community cohesion for the said inhabitants.

Regular meetings and other activities to raise funds for Charitable purposes not necessarily confined to the Forest of Dean.

Providing Scouting activities for young people between the ages of 6 and 14.

Organising village activities, such as whist drives, beetle drives, jumble sales, firework/bonfire displays, village flower and produce show for the benefit of local inhabitants. Making the hall available for local inhabitants' activities, including Parish Council.

Organising events and raising funds for local charities and Rotary Foundation

We organise social activities to generate funds for equipment or facilites which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

The King George's Hall is managed by the King George's Hall Management Committee for the purpose of a meeting place for the local scouts club and other social groups for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of Harleston with Redenhall.

We fundraise for Nassington School, enabling the provision of extra resources to enhance the education and learning experience of our children.

To relieve patients and former patients of Molesey Hospital and other invalids in the community who are sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped or infirm and generally to support the work of the hospital

The Friends of Yealmpstone Farm, hold fayres, quizzes, fun evenings, school discos etc in order to raise money for the children of the school. Funds raised help buy equipment and contributions towards the cost of trips and activities.

Charitable work in the community especially for the elderly including dementia sufferers & their carers and young people and also fund raising for local charities. Through Rotary International we are involved in the provision of services elsewhere in the world including disaster areas through the provision of Shelter and Emergency boxes, polio eradication, shoe boxes for under-privileged children.

Supports Eastgate Primary in providing activities/materials which are over and above the normal curriculum

The W.I. is a National Organisation and we are one of approx.36 Institutes on the Isle of Wight. We have a few fundraising activites a year, some for Charity and some to top up our own funds.

Relief of poverty both in Essex and overseas. Donations to other charitable institutions and public benefit to children and old people

We are a school pta who provide fund raising events for the children and their families to attend. The funds we spend on improving the school grounds and work alongside the school development plan.

Girlguiding UK offers girls and young women the opportunity to be challenged by new experiences, develoing self-awareness and personal values.They will develop a sense of tolerance, justice, kindness and honour through their activities, acquiring leadership skills and a sense of teamwork.

The objectives of The Friends of Bencurtis Park is to assist with Bencurtis Park amenities, activities, the environment and services to older people.
