The relief of poor and distressed Freemasons and their widows and children and support for other Masonic Charities or other charitable organisations.

The Charity exists to raise money through the brethren of the Lodge and their visitors for both Masonic and non Masonic charities.

Our school tells our committee what they need, we then schedule fundraising events to raise the money for the item/project.

Provision of facilities and other leisure-time activities, not normally provided by the Local Authority, for older people within the local community.

Raising funds to maintain the Guide Centre and keep it in a satisfactory state for use by Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers.

To promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizensand as members of their local, national and international communities.

Birstall District Girlguides is part of Girlguiding UK and as such: enables girls and young women to fulfil their potential to take an active and responsible role in society through its distinctive stimulating and enjoyable programme of activities delivered by trained volunteer leaders.

THE AIM OF THE SEA CADETS CORPS IS TO HELP YOUNG PEOPLE BETWEEN THE AGES OF 10 AND 18. TOWARDS RESPONSIBLE ADULTHOOD BY ENCOURAGING VALUABLE PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND HIGH STANDARDS OF CONDUCT, USING A NAUTICAL THEME BASED ON THE CUSTOMS OF THE ROYAL NAVY.OUR CADETS MAKE A POSITIVE CONTRIBUTION IN THE COMMUNITY. THROUGH OUR MANY ACTIVITIES OFFERED THEY ARE ABLE TO GAIN QUALIFICATIONS.

Maintaining a Community centre for the benefit of the local community and providing social welfare and education.

Provides funding for the maintenance and repair of the Fletching Parish Church. During the last two years we have funded Roof repairs and an Intruder alarm (to protect the lead roof).

Education and learning through the local community.

General Fundraising eg cake stalls, summer fair, demonstration evenings, Family events etc

Provide equipped building for meetings of Bethersden Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts, Rainbow Guides, Brownie Guides and Girl Guides.

We own and maintain St. Margarets Community Hall and make it available to any club, organisation or member of the public who wishes to hire it for any activity or private function.

Fund raising PTA

We organise fundraising events and activities to raise money for Orton C of E Primary School. The money raised goes towards funding trips out for the children and extra equipment needed in school.
