As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, the 2nd Torpoint Sea Scout Group give young people of the Torpoint area the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

Provide inhabitants of Mount Hawke and neighbourhood (without distinction of sex or of political, religious or other opinions) in the interests of social welfare, facilities for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

COLLECTS MONIES FOR ACWW; DONATES TO LOCAL CHARITIES SUCH AS MANORLANDS HOSPICE, BRADFORD EAR TRUST & WILSDEN VILLAGE HALL; PROVIDES REFRESHMENTS FOR VILLAGE ACTIVITIES. PROVIDE A FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT FOR MEMBERS TO PURSUE HOBBIES, NEW SKILLS & FRIENDSHIPS.

Support group for local Girlguiding units in North Chingford.

To co-ordinate the work of Inner Wheel Clubs in district 14 in raising funds for home and overseas charities and providing service for those in need and fellowship to fellow members.

Parent teacher association

Waterlooville District Guides is a district of Girlguiding UK and is made up of Rainbow, Brownie, Guide and Young Leader groups for a range of girls aged from 5 - 25. All leaders are voluntary and run weekly meetings, activities camps & holidays as well as various activities for girls and young women from a wide social/economic group.

Fund raising events in and around the locality of the school including pupil discos, raffles and fetes.

Holding fundraising events such as raffles, fayres and cake sales at the school to raise money for the school, providing items of equipment needed, subsidising school trips, paying for outside performers to put on productions at the school for the children.

The object of the Charity is to service the inhabitants of Thirsk, East of the Cod Beck and the neighbourhood, in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

To purchase extra's such as playground toys, reading books and whole school activities for the children to use within the school day, to enhance the childrens' learning. To provide after school events such as school disco's and visits to theatres.
