Local fundraising and support

To apply both the capital and the income for the relief of such poor and distressed Brother Masons or their poor and distressed widows and children.For the benefit of such Masonic Charities or other Charitable Institutions, Societies and Objects as the Lodge shall in duly constituted meeting from time to time direct.

The Friends of St Mary's is a charitable organisation whose main objective is to raise funds for the maintenance and preservation of the historic building of St Mary's Church Hemel Hempstead. Members of the friends are drawn from the congregation and from the community in general. The friends organise fundraising events and offer practical assistance throughout the year.

FUNDRAISING.

Supports and encourages community activities within the village of Brightwell-cum-Sotwell.

The purpose of the charity is:* To raise money to fund resources, visits and visitors to enhance the provision for all the children of Seascale School* Engage in activities which support the school and advance the experiences of the pupils attending it. * Develop relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school.

Income to be used for the relief of poverty amongst old age pensioners and for the relief of the sick in the Town of Newton Abbot and the Parishes of Abbotskerswell, Bickington, Broadhempston, Coffinswell, Haccombe-with-Combe, Ipplepen, Kingskerswell, Kingsteignton, Teigngrace, Torbryan and Ogwell, all in the County of Devon.

The preservation, repair, maintenance, improvement and beautification of Binham Priory. The trust played a lead role in the project,finalised in 2010,to conserve medieval structures and improve physical and intellectual access, . Wider financial support from the public is being encouraged by the change of name allowed in 2012 to emphasis the role of the Friends of Binham Priory formed in 2010.

Provides social activities for senior citizens.Our Constitution dictates we give the elderly people of Ravenfield a "treat".Coffee Mornings and Day Trips out are our main events.

Village Hall used for all village activities,whist drives, parish council meetings,can be hired by outside bodies for weddings, craft fairs, parties etc.Uses occasionally by D.C.C for craft classes, computer classes

ORGANIZING EVENTS AT FAWCETT PRIMARY SCHOOL AND TRUMPINGTON MEADOWS PRIMARY SCHOOL TO RAISE MONEY FOR ITEMS AND EQUIPMENT TO INSPIRE THE PUPILS AND ENHANCE THEIR LEARNING ENVIRONMENT.

Raise funds for local and international charities

League for the period of 1.1.09 to 31.12.09, funded 48 concerts in the homes, give a Capita Grant of -ú25, so every resident received a Christmas present/party. In addition, in line with the Charity Commissions thought, we had a surplus of -ú3000 which we divided equally between the two trusts to re-fund, resulting in a wide variety of objects purchased for the benefit of the resident.

Relief of the poor and needy, education and other such charitable purposes as the Rotary Club from time to time decides. Donations made to the charities and needy people in Canterbury district and overseas under the umbrella of Rotary International. In addition to making cash donations, club members support other local organisations by voluntary activities.
