SCOUT GROUP

The Rotary Club of Southgate was chartered on 15th December 1925 and has a membership of men & women who meet and fundraise for local, national and international charities. Lunch meetings are face to face on 2nd & 4th Mondays at 12.45pm in a private room at the Jolly Farmers, Enfield Road, Enfield, England or Virtually on 1st and 3rd Mondays at 7.30pm. On 5th Monday we meet for a social evening.

This Rotary club operates in the Ashfield / Mansfield area to raise funds for local, national and international charities. It also supports financially, local organisations such as Senior Citizens, Scouts and Guides and other worthy causes.

FUNDRAISING FOR TIPTOE SCHOOL WITH ACTIVITIES SUCH AS YEARLY FETE, CAR BOOT SALES, SPONSERED WALKS, RAFFLES, BINGO ETC

We are a committee of parents and staff who fundraise throughout the year, organising events such as discos, a school ball, bikeathon and barn dances. All monies raised go back to the school to enhance the learning experience and environment for the pupils.

The centenery camp. A climbing camp. World jamboree. Live 07. Christmas camp. Bury rignell. Expedition training. Troop challenge hike. Night hike. District camping. Cooking camp.

Raising funds for the restoration and maintenance of St Kenelm's Church, Alderley, by means of functions, subscriptions, covenants, donations and investments.

The activities of the charity are: book club, coffee mornings, outings. Monthly Meetings with educational talks and a social time.

SUPPORTING AND FUNDING THE MANDATES PASSED BY THE NFWI. PROMOTING THE EMPOWERMENT OF WOMEN AND RAISING THE PROFILE OF ISSUES IN THE COMMUNITY. HELPING TO PROVIDE MEMBERÔÇÖS WITH EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES AND SUPPORT LIFETIME LEARNING. ENCOURAGING AND PROMOTING THE SOCIALISATION, FRIENDSHIP, FELLOWSHIP, AND WELFARE OF OUR MEMBERS.

SCOUT GROUP

Furness Lions Club is one of several Lions Clubs based in Cumbria. We assist in our local community where in the opinion of our members and trustees help and support is required. As members of Lions Clubs International we contribute to their appeals both at home and overseas.

Application of the income of the charity for the benefit of the poor and needy or such other charitable institutions or other purposes as the members of the Rotary Club of Stockton-on-Tees shall from time to time determine.
