The charity supports children attending New Siblands School who have severe learning difficulties and disabilities. This includes the purchase of recreational or educational equipment and supporting the school and it's activities.

Scouting Activities

To advance the education of the pupils of Greenmead School, Wimbledon, by the provision of equipment, facilities and amenities for the benefit of such pupils, being facilities, equipment and amenities which would not otherwise be provided by the educational authority responsible for the management of the school.

We are a scout group that provides adventurous activities and personal development opportunities for young people aged between 6 & 14 years old from Sutton Valence, Chart Sutton, East Sutton and the surrounding villages. In scouting we believe that young people develop most when they are learning by doing, when they are given responsibility and work in teams, making friends and getting outdoors.

To improve and develop conditions of rural life in accordance with the constitution and rules of the Women's Institute

The Group promotes the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials as individuals, responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities. The method of achieving this aim is by providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training based on the Scout Law and Promise.

Holds an Annual Day for members and guests. Publishes 'Pilgrim' magazine twice a year. Encourages interest in and prayer for the Church in India, in particular CNI and CSI and unity. Seeks to promote unity in the church in the UK. Arranges lectures and other events from time to time.

To help improve, maintain, repair, renew and preserve the fabric, fixtures, fittings, furniture and equipment of the Church (St Nicholas Blakeney) and the churchyard for the benifit of the Public.To help maintain and develop the music and other aspects of worship and the life of the Church.

We provide talks on interesting subjects and social interaction for our members. We arrange outings to interesting places.

Monthly meetings with Speakers on various topics. Additional meetings of interest groups - gardening, scrabble, rummikub, walking, craft, book club. Outings to places of interest, theatre, etc. Fund raising for various local charities and community projects.

Antrobus Women's Institute holds monthly meeting with a speaker covering a wide variety of topics. A number of Institute members have recently received Food Safety Certificates as the Institute helps with the catering at a number of village events.Members also meet socially once a month to visit places of interestWe have a darts team and bowling tea, members night and a Christmas Party & Quiz

The Club is a member of Lions Club International which aims to foster a spirit of "generous consideration" amongst peoples of the word. We organize various events to raise money for local good causes and take an active interest in civic, social and morale welfare of the community, as well as promoting high ethical standards in members business and professions and the practice of good citizenship.

MEETINGS ONCE A MONTH. VARIOUS FUND RAISING ACTIVITIES

The objective of the Association is to advance the education of the pupils of the school by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the school. This includes the running of seasonal Fairs / Fetes, events at the school including Discos, Bingo nights, and Quiz Evenings, etc. The Association also purchases and provides equipment and events to the school.
