To provide support for musical activities for children in education in Pembrokeshire

As part of the International Association of Lions Clubs worldwide we operate within the guidelines so laid out. Specifically we raise funds for the support and help of any person or persons or organisation which reside or operate within the Basingstoke Area who are judged to be in need.

To provide facilities for the use of various groups in the village, Playgroup, Ladies club, Childrens Music Club, Ladies Keep Fit and any charitable fund raising events.

A scout group in the local district belonging to the National Scout Association.

FUNDRAISING TO PROVIDE EQUIPMENT AS NECESSARY TO SUPPORT PATIENTS AND STAFF AT OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY HOSPITAL.

General charity purposes

The collection of the proceeds of fundraising by the Rotary Club of Hounslow and their eventual distribution to worthy causes benefitting the poor and needy as agreed by club members.

It is a private Masonic Chapter with membership of 40 males approximately. We receive donations and private collections from the members only and these are retained in our funds to be used to help others who are less fortunate ourselves. We do not make any public appeals whatsoever and neither will we be doing so in the future. Our funtion is very private and we wish it to stay that way.

Girl Guiding - activities for girls aged 5 - 20

Swaffham Women's Institute - we regularly have invited speakers to our meetings and arrange trips to suite our members.

ENGAGE IN ACTIVITIES WHICH SUPPORT THE SCHOOL AND ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS THAT ATTEND IT.

Fundraising. Sponsoring the supply of equipment for use in physiotherapy, midwifery and care in the community.Funding projects in restructured hospital.

District Guide Association for Burnham and Taplow (1 Ranger, 2 Guide units, Four Brownies units and one Rainbow). District has 100% interest in income and assets of Burnham Supporters Committee. Purpose of Supporters Committee is to provide a safe and fit for purpose Guide HQ and garden for Burnham Units.

The Charity favours educational, community and health enterprises, organisations and individuals located both in the UK, and abroad (usually where projects are approved by Rotary International)

Fundraising activities to provide additional services and equipment for the use of staff and pupils at Arnold View Primary School.

Fund raising to help buy, maintain & run school minibuses, giving greater educational, cultural and sporting opportunites for the children and also to buy other items of educational value extra to the school budget

The PTA hold activities to raise funds to enable the PTA to give grants to the school. These grants help to advance the education of pupils by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities and experiences not normally provided by the local education authority.

Hold coffee mornings, arrange sponsored events, operate stalls at the school's summer and christmas fairs for fundraising.

The 'Friends' was founded to promote, support, assist and improve The Willis Museum. We also support members & non members with local projects such as a book of local history or like interest. We have resources facilities for our members and museum staff, a collection of local maps, photographs & oral tapes of peoples memories.

PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION

The Womens Institute is a democratically controlled educational & social organisationfor women, offering the opportunityfor working & learning together to improve the quality of life in the community. It is a forum for lobbying on all kinds of issues at a local, national & International level.

Fund raising to cover costs of items and activities, not funded through National or Local Official sources, to enable the Dorset Army Cadets to carry out their training in an appropriate manner. In addition the league supports young cadets whose income may require financial support to attend collective training away from home.

Facilities provided ensure that children, between ages 4 -18 can participate in Girlguiding UK activities and children aged 5 -18 can participate in Scouting activities.
