Membership organisation linked to a County and National Federation of Institutes. The aim of the organisation is to promote amongst its members education, community involvement and improment to lives.

The 11th Romsey (Kings Somborne) Scout Group operates in the local area as part of Romsey District Scouts. The Group works to enhance the development of young people and is governed by The Scout Association (national) guidelines.

We support run groups for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. We meet weekly during term time and offer a full programme of activities, and also offer residential camps.

The object of the association are to advance education of pupils by providing and assisting in provision of facilities for education (not normally provided by LEA). This to foster relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school.

General fund raising activities.

General charitable purposes, education and training, overseas aid and famine relief for children, the elderly, the disabled and other charities/voluntary organisations, schools and individuals as decided by the members of Rotary Club of Lancaster under the Trust Deed dated the 6th April 1973.

Our members meet once a month for a social evening or to hear a speaker. Our monthly agenda is signed. We are non profit making and support the Womens Institure.

We are a small club in existance for over 15 years which caters for the visually handicapped living in the York area We have at the present time approx 30 members. We are a voluntary association meeting fortnightly for coffee/tea and a social chat and occasionally we have mid-week outings to places of local interest We use our own mini-bus for both activities.

Providing additional support for Preston Primary School

We support the learning-disabled residents of Stallcombe House, EX5 1EX, registered charity 283877, providing enrichment for their lives. We support parents and extended families of residents. We have regular small fund-raising activities in Devon.

Our aim is to offer members the opportunuty of sharing friendship and learning - to widen their horizons and together to influence local, national and international affairs.

Undertake activities to enable women interested in issues associated with rural life, to improve their education in citizenship, public questions, music, culture, handicrafts, home economics, health and social welfare and to improve rural life.
