BCA aims to enhance the life of the inhabitants of Barton by providing community facilities and developing and managing projects of a charitable nature. It has developed a strong record of developing and managing local projects such as a community cafe, social events, family activities, research, youth provision and learning with the core value of the work being led and owned by the community.

The North London Buddhist Centre offers courses and classes in Meditation, Buddhism, Yoga and other activities to promote health, happiness and well-being. Its aim is to develop a Buddhist practice community in the city relevant to our lives in the 21st Century.It is part of an international network of the Friends of the Western Buddhist Order, which has over 80 centres world-wide.

A variety of activities are available including - IT Training, Internet Access, Support Groups, Over 50's Lunch Club, Ladies & Mens Night, Beauticians Course, DJ'ing, Chair Repair project, Table Tennis & BadmintonA hall & different sized conference rooms available for hire. A cafe, self service laundrette & charity shop is available. Community events such as discos & holiday clubs are provided.

To establish a Community Centre and to maintain and manage this Centre for the activities promoted by the Association.To promote the benefits of the inhabitants of Brightlingsea by associating local authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation.

The community centre offers a varity of activities to all age groups including, Playgroups, Toddler Groups, Quilting, Dance, Aerobics, Tai Chi, Drawing and Painting, Craft classes, Adult Learning, hire facilities for Training Events and much more.

To raise money for the purchase of equipment and amenities for the benefit of both patients and staff in our local hospitals and in the community.

Provide resources, both human and physical, to WIs within the federation.Acts as an umbrella or resource body

Regular acts of worship (open to all) every sunday. Playgroup - during term time for local children. Tuesday Space2B drop in centre for coffee and a chat. Brownie Guide pack. Luncheon club for senior citizens. Parent & toddler club. Saturday coffee morning. Rooms for hire to local organisations.

The charitable organisation provides religious and educational facilities as well as providing a focal point for the local community by allowing the use of it site for community activities and projects.

Provides and manages a Community Centre in a building in the Centre of West Mersea. The Facilities are available to members of the public in West Mersea, East Mersea and the surrounding area. These facilities include Two Squash Courts, two halls which can be adapted to suit different activities, Kitchen, Bar with separate Lounge, Charity Shop and Fully fitted Gym.

Provision of Community Centre, Support for local community

The Association promotes for the benefit of the inhabitants of Lyndhurst and the surrounding area the advancement of education, social welfare, recreation and leisure activities. The Association operates a centre which provides a number of meeting rooms and office services for the use of community groups, individuals and commercial organisations.

Greater London South County Scout Council, known as South London Scouts, supports and manages Scouting across the London Boroughs of Bexley, Bromley, Royal Greenwich, Lewisham, Southwark, Lambeth, & Wandsworth. Providing strategic direction and operational support to its member Scout Districts which mirror the London Borough boundaries.

The promotion of benefit for the inhabitants of Stubbington and Hill Head Wards of Fareham Borough Council in association with local autorities and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide recreation and leisure facilities.

To apply trust funds and income for the maintenance, relief treatment or otherwise for the benefit of members, or ex members of the Armed Forces of the State of Israel suffering from disability occasioned in the course of their duties.

Public Worship; learning about the Christian faith, including Bible Study and discussion; children's activities with a Christian focus; pastoral care of members of our own congregation and others; social responsibility action; social activities - all within a framework of openness and acceptance of all.

Provision of spiritual and helpful support: community activities including youth clubs; children's clubs; mothers' and toddlers' clubs; visiting into various prisons in Kent; meetings for all ages; provide meeting/conference facilities for Alcoholics Anonymous and other organisations.

To run & operate one coffee shop and trolley service, funds to be used on the hospital, patients and staff amenities.

We provide for social activities, lunch time meals for over 50's, coffee bar, a day centre for elderly clients, suffering for incapacity and dementia and learning difficulties which provides, bathing, social activities and friendship.

The Friends of Bude Sea Pool is a not-for-profit community group. We aim to preserve, improve and enhance the historic Sea Pool at Summerleaze Beach, Bude, Cornwall, as an amenity for the benefit, health and enjoyment of the community and visitors to the town. Activities include fund-raising and future management/development of the pool

The objectives and activities of the League of Friends are to encourage and maintain the interest of the public in the patients and to support the work of the Queen Victoria Memorial Hospital, Herne Bay.
