Raising funds for local causes, National & International IW charities

The charity is concerned with raising monies for general donations to other registered charities, primarily the Masonic Charitable Foundation.

Each month a variety of Speakers are invited to talk on various subjects. Lunches are normally organised at least twice a year. Trips to interesting venues are also organised. Workshops of interest to members are held each year.

The Trust fulfils its objects by providing the Church Council with grants for the restoration, maintenance and upkeep of the fabric of the Church. The Trust receives its income in the form of donations, fundraising and bank interest.

Education and training of women

To assist with the promotion of Tredegar House to the public. To assist the National Trust and/or Newport City Council by making donations towards the purchase of Tredegar House artefacts and assisting with the cost of conserving Tredegar House artefacts now in possession of the National Trust and/or Newport City Council.

Fund raising to assist local charities and educational needs of local young people.Also to provide financial assistance for national rotary charities.

TO ENABLE WOMEN TO TAKE AN EFFECTIVE PART IN RURAL LIFE AND DEVELOPMENT

Fundraising. Providing charitable service and donations.

Raises funds to help the parochial church council with the maintenance & enhancement of the church fabric, furniture & grounds.

General charitable purposes in the Whitley Bay & North Tyneside area including- relief of the poor & needy- grants & donations to young people for vocational studies and and advancement of the arts- any other charitable purposes deemed appropriate by the Trustees

developing new skills - mapping, knots, camping, social activities, day trips, badge work, games and sports.

Monthly meetings for members with speakers.

Grants are available to members to study on Denman College virtual courses or attend other educational activities in East Sussex in the form of bursaries.

SCHOOL ACTIVITIES

Provide accommodation for North Ferriby Guides and Brownies

We are a group of women who meet once a month for the evening. We have a visit from different speakers who educate us on various subjects.

Provides education and social activities for women.
