Charitable activities

The primary aim is the creation of a substantial endowment for Radley College in the form of a central fund, the capital as well as the income of which can be used for the support of Radley. Various initiatives are used for fundraising, with major gifts and legacies being sought. The Foundation is presently funding bursaries for those unable to pay Radley's fees, and supporting various projects.

The object of the Charity is to raise funds for the advancement of education in association with and relating to the charitable educational activities of The University of Haifa.

Milton Keynes YMCA's main focus is to support young people to truly belong, contribute and thrive within their communities. We do this through the provision of: Homeless project, residential units, advice and guidance services and extensive activity programmes. We work in partnership with other organisations across the sector in MK, Luton, Beds and Northants.

We help motivated students from disadvantaged backgrounds win places at top universities.

Achieve Lifestyle provides leisure services and facilities for the local residents of Runnymede, this includes the recreation, amateur sport, leisure and social activities of all ages and abilities. We promote good health through community participation in healthy outreach.

East Kent Mencap provides a range of services for children and adults which include: Person Centred Day Resource Services and community based access. Social housing including, 24/7 support in well maintained accommodation and additional independent living service. Domiciliary Care. Community support. Projects, Social clubs and Events for both adults and children/young people.

We fulfill this vision through supported housing for homeless young people, family support and childcare, drug and alcohol programmes, community learning activities together with community and youth work.

The Manchester YMCA operates a sports and fitness centre (The Y Club) in Manchester city centre. It also operates a subsidiary company, Castlefield Hotel Limited. Manchester YMCA aims to build strong families and strong communities through programmes aimed at self development and personal growth.

The management of Highgate Cemetery:- to facilitate its use as a public burial ground- to give access to graveowners and others- to conserve its natural and built environment

The charity operates two activity centres for older people and a variety of services in the community including exercise classes, nail cutting, social activities, information and advice and a home repair service.It encourages volunteering to assist older people and by older people assisting others.

Ipswich Town Foundation is the official charity of Ipswich Town Football Club, using the power of Ipswich Town FC to make a genuine positive difference to the lives of individuals and groups in Suffolk. We deliver a diverse range of programmes across community participation and inclusion, education and employability, health and wellbeing and sport and physical activity.

Supported Housing for homeless people aged 16-35, activities and programmes for children and young people aged 0-25 within North East Lincolnshire, East Yorkshire and the Humberside area.

Funds are raised via donations and saved for grants to Israel and the UK for educational purposes.

THE MAIN ACTIVITY OF THE CHARITY IS TO PROVIDE A HOSTEL FOR STUDENTS WHO HAVE COME TO UK TO PURSUE THEIR STUDIES.
