We are a fundraising organisation to help provide improved facilities and educational experience for the pupils of King Henry VIII Comprehensive School

Friends of Townsend (PTA) raises funds for the School through a number of activities such as School Fairs,dances, quiz nights, Theatre trips, raffles, for the benifit of the school and the local community.we provide help to the school financially and assist with a number of after school activities where parent/ carer help is needed.

We raise money through raffles which is then donated to Masonic and Non Masonic charities

Relief of suffering and poverty and support of other registered charities

General fundraising in the Ormskirk area to allow donations to be made to individuals or small charitable groups on receipt of a request for assistance. It is not our normal policy to make donations from this Trust to organisations that have their own fundraising abilities. We do make donations via our parent body Lions Clubs International for National & I/NAT appeals.

Masonic Charity

Raises funds from village activities and uses them to part fund village events to promote a community feeling and to fund minor physical improvements to the village.

To advance the education of students by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the college (not normally provided by the local authority).

Educational and social meetings for all to learn and experience new activities

Supporting the Porthleven Surgery with the purchase following fund raising of medical equipment and the servicing costs of some equipment when necessary.

Currently engaged in raising & expending funds to maintain the fabric, fittings, ornaments, furniture, buildings, erections & monuments of and in St Mary's Parish Church, West Worlington, Devon. The charity also supports other appropriate causes within a local village context.

RAISING FUNDS AND SUPPORTING EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITES FOR THE ENJOYMENT OF CHILDREN AND FAMILIES ATTENDING BRADING CHURCH OF ENGLAND CONTROLLED PRIMARY SCHOOL. ENABLING PARTICIPATION FOR ALL IN COMMUNITY EVENTS AND EXTRA-CURRICULA ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING OFF-SITE VENUES.

Monthly meetings, educational and social activities

Talks and activities in support of The Thetford museum. £380 spent on badge making machine and £75 for new logo design artwork in 2013.?300 was spent for free Museum trails and £250 match funding for WWI HLF project in 2014.£1000 match funding for the Duleep Singh Room in 2015.£250 for trails in 2016.£600 grant for History Club,£377 for storage boxes and £152 for Microscope all for Museum use.

Girlguiding Selby Central District is part of Girlguiding UK and as such is part of a worldwide movement which enables girls and young women to fulfil their potential to take an active and responsible role in society through its distinctive, stimulating and enjoyable programme delivered by trained volunteer leaders.

To purchase Masonic memorabilia,books,works of art,manuscripts etc which come up for sale so as to preserve them for the Craft for all time.All purchases will either be donated or placed on loan with the Library & Museum of Freemasonry or other approved(by UGLE)museums. To provide funds for the advancement of Masonic education,knowledge and learning in all things Masonic.

Support and Promote Herefordshire Archives Service and Fundraising

To help young people achieve their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential as individuals.

Local Girlguiding District giving girls and young women a space where they can be themselves, have fun, build brilliant friendships, gain valuable life skills and make a positive difference to their lives and their communities. We build girls? confidence and raise their aspirations. We give them the chance to discover their full potential and encourage them to be a powerful force for good.

I collect donations from the members of Belfair's Lodge. We in turn make donations to masonic charities from the amount I collect. The donations are mainly made to the Masonic Grand Charity, so they may make donations to masonic and non-masonic charityable organisations.

We are part of the National Women's Institute and our group meets at St John's Church, Ashton Hayes once a month.

VILLAGE USE HALL USED BY THE LOCAL COMMUNITY FOR JUMBLE SALES, KEEP FIT SCOUTS, CUBS AND SOCIAL GROUPS, VILLAGE FETE ALL PROCEED OF EVENTS FINANCE THE UP KEEP OF THE HALL AND SURROUNDING AREA
