Our purpose is to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society.

Scout Group

to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Kedington and the Neighbourhood by associating with the local authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for the recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

All scouting activities for the age range of males and females between the ages of 6 and 26

we provide facilities at a Community Centre in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for inhabitants of Bakewell and District and the neighbourhood.

Hall & meeting rooms for hire for meetings, training (equipment available), functions (licensed bar on premises), workshops and bazaars. The centre is wheelchair friendly with loop systems in the rooms and has a toilet for the disabled, nappy changing facilities and parking.

Providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training based on the Scout Promise & Law and guided by adult leadership, to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as memebers of their local, national & international communities.

To assist in the relief of distress of Cheshire Mark Master Masons and their dependents, to make grants to other Masonic Charities and non Masonic charities

Providing learning and support for all young persons aged between 6 and 18 years old.Based in the centre of Barnstaple Town, North Devon, the 1st North Devon Scout Group have continued to run successfully for over 100 years. Some of the exciting activities we do include Kayaking, Climbing, Orienteering, nights away/camping as well as supporting projects in the local community.

SCOUTING ACTIVELY ENGAGES AND SUPPORTS YOUNG PEOPLE IN THEIR PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT, EMPOWERING THEM TO MAKE A POSITIVE CONTRIBUTION TO SOCIETY.

Edgmond Village Hall is for the benefit of the inhabitants of Edgmond and the neighbourhood, for the purposes of education, social activities, training and leisure time occupations.

The CCA manages the Caister Community Centre. Local community based groups and organisations use the facilities.

We are members of the World Wide Scouting Movement and provide activities and training to young people between the ages of 6 & 25, in addition our group provides a comprehensive programme of water activities. We are all volunteers.

Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support our school and advance the education of the pupils.

Donations to local, national and international worthy causes: Hospices, natural disasters, physically & mentally handicapped persons etc.

To relieve poverty and distress among freemasons and to support local Registered Charities

Provide a diverse programme of activities to promote the development of young people so they can achieve their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local communities.

Brookwood Memorial Halls are the Village Halls for the village of Brookwood. The Charity provides facilities for local groups and charities, (such as Womens Institute, Scouts Association and Guides Association).

Put on a wide, varied, active and inclusive programme incorporating elements of both modern and traditional Scouting.

Social activities for local people and families in the communities of Renishaw and Spinkhill including support for local football teams, golf sections, fishing club and children's entertainment IE parties at Christmas/easter/Halloween with help & support to local seniors outings/day trips

Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers in the village of Addingham

Scouting for children.

Provision of Playing Fields and associated facilities including football pitches, a multi use games area, childrens play area, bowling green, social club and community hall with ancillary facilities, for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parishes of Steeple Barton and Westcote Barton. This is partially achieved by leasing the social facilities to a separate non-profit making organisation.

The objectives of the Group are as a unit of the Scout Association, the aim of which is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.
