YOUTH ACTIVITIES UNDER THE SCOUT ASSOCIATION

The objective of the charity is to raise funds for pupils at Marlow C of E infant school, to provide resources which the school budget is unable to fulfil. This is achieved by running events like School Discos and Quiz Nights as well as numerous other fundraising schemes. The funds are also used to help with projects for the school, for e.g. solar panels.

CHOC manages and maintains Clare Town Hall and Clare Old School Community Centre for the benefit of the parishioners of Clare and the immediately surrounding communities. The rooms and halls are available for hire for social, educational, recreational, leisure and other community activities without distinction of age, gender, social, racial, religious or political differences.

Administration, Development and Support of eight Scout Groups and four Explorer Scout Units in West Hertfordshire.

SCOUTING ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS

TO FURTHER THE DEVELOPMENT WORK OF THE CATHEDRAL RELIEF SERVICE AMONGST THE DESTITUTE AND NEEDY OF KOLKATA AND BEYOND THROUGH EDUCATION, HEALTH CARE AND EMPOWERMENT.

The District arranges events and support across the all the zones of the Scouting programme.

A scout group gives a meeting place for children and young people, to take part in various challenges, while learning to be part of a group with a uniform.

To develop young people to achieve their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential through a structured programme, in accordance with the Scout association policy, organisation and rules.

The object of the charity is to provide a link between the hospital and the local community and provide better amenities for patients at the hospital and in the community, including better equipment and facilities.

The Memorial Hall is used by a wide section of the local community.i.e Pre School,Mums & Toddlers,,Cubs & Scouts for the youth. Golden Circle(Ex WI)Flower Group,Horticultural ,Dancing Dog Training.keep fit classes.

To support young people in activities to enable them to grow and develope to their full extent.

Provision of Village Hall facilities for the benefit of the communities in Fairfield and surrounding areas. Activities include specific groups for the young and the old, the Parish Church, Womens Institute and various local events.

In partnership with adults, young people:enjoy what they are doing; learn by doing; participate in varied and progressive activities; make choices for themselves; take responsibility for their own actions; work in groups; take increasing responsibility for others; take part in activities outdoors;make and live out their Promise.

Scout Group

The group helps to provide outdoor challenge, adventure and skills for life to young people in and around the Folkestone area.

Management of Lawrance Park community hall & playing field.

The charity is a primary school PTA. Various school events are organised for social and fundraising purposes. Donations are made to the school from any surplus made to fund the purchase of equipment and services for the school.

We continue to develop young people in the Beavers; Cubs and Scouts engaging them in various activities e.g. Archery; Shooting; Camping etc. Competing in competitions with other groups in the Waveney area.

Education and training both at our head office and out in the community. Organising courses, cultural and leisure events, campaigning on environmental issues.

The association cater for the needs of voluntary groups in a diverse multicultural society, especially those which are disadvantaged in some way. The majority of user groups are, the under 5's, disabled people, older people, ethnic minorities and womens groups.

Maintaining a building in order to provide modern and safe facilities for organisations, groups and private individuals. Users range from individuals with a particular interest/hobby to the area WI, DMBC, Cycling Club Meets. Hatfield Woodhouse Village Hall offers social, educational and entertainment activities for the general public resident in and around the area of Hatfield Woodhouse.
