Manage the West Cross Community Centre for the benefit of local residents, providing facilities for indoor sports (Bowls, Badminton, Aikido, Tai Chi), social functions(Dancing, club for disabled, pensioners' club, inexpensive lunches, discussion group, Bridge clubs).Also tap dance and ballet classes, health and fitness, facilities for local Councillor surgeries and private hire for parties, etc.

Provides facilities for sports, leisure and social activities within the local community and the surrounding areas.

Running of a Scout Group in Maidenhead, Berkshire

Monthly WI meetings. Outings as a WI, with other WIs and Federation. Supporting national resolutions. Coffee mornings. Involvment with local groups eg collecting for food banks.

Door to door transport for those in need using volunteer drivers. Shopping buses with escorts for those who wish to shop for themselves but need assistance with accessible transport and carrying bags. Shopping for the housebound. Social activities for the lonely with transport provided, using accessible transport buses if needed.

Outdoor activities for young people and children. Training and participation in various practical activities including first aid, handicrafts, outdoor skills. Activities designed to develop character and social skills. All activities have a strong ethical basis.

Scout group - Scouts, Cubs, Beavers and Squirrels

We provide a low cost venue for use by groups and individuals of all ages in the community. Examples include the Scouts, dancing, exercise, whist groups, horticulural society, theatre groups, the local school and many individuals for meetings and parties.

As Scouts we prepare young people with skills for life. Each year we help over 460,000 girls and boys enjoy fun and adventure while developing skills to succeed #SkillsForLife

Fund raising within Salcombe and Hope Cove to give to local charities and deserving projects as well as to occasional National or International Causes usually within the Rotary Umbrella.

Scout Group - We are provide weekly sessions and activities designed to promote the physical, intellectual, spiritual and social development of young people aged between 6 and 25 with special emphasis on outdoor activities.

To improve the life of minority, ethnic and children, young people, audults and the elderly by widening access to our services and support through extending our current community centre to establish an inter-cultural community centre, a family centre, to address the wide range of needs of our diverse local community.To promote local community activities,Social, Cultural and regious activities.

ACTS AS FOCUS FOR A RANGE OF COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING NETWORKING AND INFORMATION ABOUT LOCAL FACILITIES. SUPPORTS AND PROMOTES VOLUNTARY ACTIVITY AND INITIATIVES OF GENERAL BENEFIT TO THE LOCAL COMMUNITY. REPRESENTS AND ARTICULATES COMMUNITY OPINION. RUNS ANNUAL COMMUNITY FESTIVAL AND PRODUCES COMMUNITY PUBLICATIONS.
