The education of young people aged 6 to age 18, from Ringwood Hampshire and surrounding area, for their physical, emotional, spiritual, and social development through a balanced programme of activities. Support for developing facilities and scouting in Malawi through joint projects in Malawi promoting the education of young people in that country and UK and to develop international friendships.

CHILDREN ARE ENCOURAGED TO ENGAGE IN ALL SCOUTING ACTIVITIES TO LEARN AND HAVE FUN

The charity is actively engaged in helping the community through the provision of rooms and reparation facilities. The charity provides a venue for many social functions and has several affiliated societies and clubs.

RYA Power & Sail, First Aid, Shooting, Canoing, Cook stewards, Comms, Writer/Stores, ET, plus many other activities.

Users from Feb 1969 Women's Institute (twice monthly)Weekly activities including Tae Kwondo 5-70 years, Fitness Group,Yoga, Yoga for Beginners, Art Class.Meeting place for other organisation including CA & Stourton Fundraising Group (a fundraising group donated proceeds to village hall. Hall is trustee managed, well kept with own grounds & private car park.

SCOUT GROUP

WE RUN FOR THE ELDERLY OF THE VILLAGE A COFFEE MORNING AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES SUCH AS TABLE TENNIS,BOWLS,BRIDGE,KNIT & NATTER POETRY,CHOIR,DANCE FIT,SEATED EXERCISES,RUMMIKUB.

Youth and Community Activities

Fund raising activities and collecting donations, using the funds raised to assist Llandovery Hospital with the cost of any efficiency improvements to premises, equipment or furnishings for the benefit of staff and patients.

To provide scouting activities for the young people of Wymeswold and the surrounding villages.

Scout Group

monthly meetings for actives bowls , Table tennis , flower arranging and board games

The Scout Group open to all young people from the age of 6 years old who are willing to make the scout law and promise.Scouting aims to help young people achieve their full physical, intellectual, spiritual potential as individuals, citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities through a developed programme of activities and challenges.

Several fund raising events during the year, including a Christmas sleigh collection. The club is supported by the Inner Wheel Club of Roborough. For the relief of the poor and needy and to or for such other charitable purposes etc, as the Roborough Rotary Club shall deem from time to time.

The Charity provides scouting activities for young people aged 5 to 15.

PROMOTION OF SCOUTING

Workshops in Art and Craft - Home and Garden - Sports and Leisure - Music and Dancing - Educational visits to exhibitions and historic houses and other places of interest.Workshops for WI Officers and Committee Members.Campaigns at local and national level, where applicable, in conjunction with resolutions passed at National Federation of WIs Annual Meetings

THE INSTRUCTION OF BOYS AND GIRLS OF ALL CLASSES IN THE PRINCIPLES OF DISCIPLINE, LOYALTY AND GOOD CITIZENSHIP.

The Charity's main purpose, as set out in the governing document, is to raise funds to provide amenities for patients and staff at the Queen Victoria Hospital.
