The Burgh Village Hall is used by the community for village activities ie indoor bowling, luncheon club, sports activities etc and the recreation centre is used for local bookings ie bingo, meetings etc

Barking & Dagenham has 10 Scout Groups & 1 Explorer Unit working with over 300 young people in the local area.The District Team oversee the Groups & provides training & support for volunteer leaders. It organises a wide range of challenging and fun indoor & outdoor activities. The Scout District is subject to the policy & rules of The Scout Association.

TO RAISE MONEY TO PROVIDE EQUIPMENT FOR THE INTENSIVE CARE OF INFANTS

The activities of the charity are the education of the public by promotion,support,assistance and improvement of the Lancashire Record Office through the activity of the group of Friends

This is achieved by providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training guided by adult leadership.

Friends of Richmond Park Academy provides support and raises money to enable Richmond Park Academy to fund trips/activities for pupils and purchase equipment for the school.

Friends of Wallands School (Parent Teacher Association)

As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, the 3rd East Kirkby Scout Group give young people of Kirkby in Ashfield and surrounding areas, the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

Religious activities

Scouting activities for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts

Providing safe free space for vulnerable groups, providing meeting space for childrens groups, yoga, line dancing, dance groups, Poole Pentecostal Church. Raising funds for cancer patients, running annual community events

We provide social activities for young people from age 5 to 17, including sports, cookery & handicrafts. These mainly take place in the safe environment of our own premises. We hold various functions to raise money for the Group i.e. Quiz & Chip nights & raffles.

To provide Scouting activities for any young person from age 4 to age 18. To be a hub for any adult wishing to re connect with Scouting via the Scout Network.

Highfield Hall Community Centre - this is a community resource for leisure and educational pursuits, with group usage for art circle, karate, community events and gatherings for Table Tennis club, drama and choral groups, and childcare provision. We have a large car park. If you are looking for a room to rent for recreation and leisure time occupation please contact us.

Fund-raising for school equipment, trips etc

We are a scout group providing scouting activities for children and young people.

Working with boys between the ages of 6 and 14 within the guidelines of the Scouting movement.

The primary object of this foundation is to support the activities of EORTC (European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer) which coordinates and conducts international translational and clinical research to improve the standard of cancer treatment for patients. EORTC is an independent, non-governmental and non-for-profit organization.

Education of children using the guidelines provided under the Scout organisation

The charity exists to provide a meeting place for local groups and to act as a venue for local functions.
