The object of the Charity is the relief of needy elderly people. The principal activity of the Charity is to provide high quality, professional residential care at two Homes for elderly persons of limited means at Rosehill and Barn Close, Carlisle. In addition, since 2016 the Charity has made grants to Age UK Carlisle and Eden to fund a Carlisle based information and advice officer.

Makaton is the UK's leading language programme for children and adults with communication or learning difficulties. Makaton uses signs, symbols and speech to develop communication, language and literacy skills. The Makaton Charity provides advice, training, and resources for families, carers and professionals. We work to share our knowledge and influence society to improve communication for all.

Discover provides creative play and learning opportunities for children aged between 0 - 11 years old and their carers that help transform lives through stories. Discover operates a centre in Stratford, East London and delivers an extensive community and education programme targeting vulnerable and disadvantaged families. Each year Discover works with over 100,000 children and adults.

Barnet Education Arts Trust provides music education opportunities to young people living in or attending school in the London Borough of Barnet. Occasionally these opportunities may extend to neighbouring boroughs. The activities include lessons, ensembles, workshops and performances

The charity is a congregation following the Jewish religion. It provides a place for ther purpose of publc worship, conducts a range of religious services and activities, provides Jewish education to adults and children, provides nursery education, organises social, educational and cultural events, and provides support within the community.

PROVISION OF NURSERY AND PREPARATORY EDUCATION

The charaties activities included The Schools Programme (in curriculum time), After Schools Coaching, Soccer Schools, Birthday Treats, Sponsored Penalty Shoot Outs, Match Day Activities, GirlÔÇÖs and WomenÔÇÖs Football, Saturday and Sunday Clubs, Disability Centre and Tours of the Ground.

Share provides vocational training, education, and opportunities for personal development to disabled people - especially those with learning disabilities, who may also have autism - and those facing health related barriers to independence and employment. We have 2 social enterprises offering catering and gardening services. Based in Wandsworth, we have no geographical boundaries.

Provide accommodation for retired and elderly people who have lived in the Parish of Benenden. Provide regular contact with the residents and assistance where necessary.

Our mission is to be a force for good by transforming lives through exceptional home from home care for children with all disabilities and their families. Respite is offered to children aged 0-19 years, anything from a 2 hour tea visit up to a 16 night stay. Our ethos of child first, disability second is central to us achieving our aims for each of the children that access our services.

We provide advice and support to both Britons in prison abroad and their families in the UK. We send emergency grants to Britons in prison overseas for food, toiletries and basic human necessities. Our resettlement service offers advice and support to British ex-prisoners returning to the UK including emergency grants . We have a range of services for families including national support groups.

Giving advice and information across a wide range of social welfare law issues - debt, welfare benefits, employment, housing, family, consumer etc.The charity operates through a city centre main office and has 6 outreach bases across the Nottingham conurbation.

The Fund is a grant making Charitable Trust which awards grants in accordance with it's charitable objectives of the prevention, treatment or relief of mental or other forms of illness. Since 2001 the Trustees' funding priority has been solely learning disability.

The Church has continued the practice of teaching, preaching, pastoral care and reaching out to those in need with both spiritual and practical support.Community involvement has continued with the existing initiatives for children and families. Activities involving practical and social help to the community have been curtailed as work on a new community centre has begun.
