To help to relieve patients & former patients of the hospital & others in the community who are sick,convalescent,disabled,handicapped,infirm or in need of assistance & to support the work of the hospital by helping to improve conditions for patients & staff with the provision of amenities & equipment.

Charity work, helping the elderly, children in need, the blind and all other charity organisations that might need helping hands.

To provide support and relief to Frome Community Hospital and its patients, staff and visitors. To promote the recruitment of voluntary helpers. To support the provision of information and education for local residents and to cooperate with such other bodies in respect of and to support research into health matters. To raise funds and accept gifts to achieve the charity's objectives

The Trustees have power to apply the net income for educational benefits in the City of Lincoln, parishes of Branston & Mere for persons under the age of 25 years.The Trustees also have power to pay grants to qualifying persons of pensionable age in the hamlets of Mere and East Mere and also in the parishes of Branston and Mere and parishes adjacent thereto.

The advancement of the Christian religion either in the United Kingdom or overseas;The advancement for the public benefit of religious or other education;The relief of the aged poor sick or disabled, through Pastoral Care and Counselling

FUND RAISING BY VARIOUS ACTIVITIES I.E. TEA PARTIES WITH BRING & BUY, CAKES STALLS, JUMBLE SALE ETC. VOLUNTARY WORK FOR LOCAL HOSPITAL, SHOPPING FOR PATIENT'S. SICK VISITING.

Raise money locally to support local people with cerebral palsy.

The charity carries out fund-raising activities in the nature of selling bric-a-brack and holding raffles. Income is also generated by holding a staff lottery. The charity makes donations to NHS organisations in Barnsley for the benefit of patients and staff.

DISTRIBUTES FUNDS ANNUALLY 2-4 TIMES, TO ASSIST PRIMARY MEDICAL CHARITIES AND ASSOCIATIONS INCLUDING HOSPICES, HOSPITALS WITH A LINK TO CANCER AND RESEARCH.

Provides help and support for people who have suffered from Stroke.Helps Stroke victims to integrate and feel comfortable in the community

Provision of scoial facilities for members and carers

The choir travel to various concert venues, singing to raise money for charities such as Leukaemia & Cancer Research, Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance to name but a few. Travel and other costs are taken from funds that are raised by holding coffee mornings and raffles. The choir website is now up and running thus enabling the public to find out more about the choir.

Provide grants to people who live in and community organisations based in theBulwick village parish. Grants have included, but are not limited to annual payments to any household where there is someone living there who is eligible for UK state pension. Examples of other grants include for funeral expenses and hospital travel expenses and grants to local community organisations.

The charity exists to relieve patients and former patients of the hospital and generally to support its charitable work. This is done by volunteers, who raise funds by means of subscriptions, a summer fete, etc, and who attend the hospital to support in any manner that they are able. GRANTS TO RECOGNISED RESEARCH UNITS IN HOSPITALS AND UNIVERSITES IN THE UK STUDYING THE CAUSATION, SPREAD AND EFFECTS OF BREAST CANCER IN THE LABORATORY AND IN CLINICAL PRACTICE

To relieve persons in need of medical attention within the beneficial area served by the Billingborough Medical Practice by providing medical equipment on loan or other facilities not normally available from the District Health Authority as well as maintaining and repairing or replacing such equipment as necessary.

Provide help and support to people affected by cancer,particularly head and neck cancer.

Provision of fortnightly extracts from local newspapers and media to registered blind and partially sighted recipients of our recordings in the North Dorset and South Wiltshire areas, edited and produced by volunteers.

ADVICE AND TREATMENT TO CANCER PATIENTS AND THEIR HELPERS

Enable the Trustees to use the income in such manner as in their discretion they should think fit for the encouragement of or reward for advances in the prevention, treatment and housing of infectious diseases.

Supporting Health Care activities in the Builth Wells area.

ACTIVITIES MONTHLY MEETINGS ON HEALTH,CARE,SUPPORT AND RELATED SUBJECTS FOR CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE PATIENTS AND THEIR CARERS, WITH QUALIFIED SPEAKERS AND THE OCCASIONAL NON MEDICAL SPEAKER. ASSIST IN RESEARCH PROJECTS. NETWORKING WITH OTHER GROUPS ORGANISATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENTS TO PROVIDE INFORMATION ON HEART DISEASE AND HEALTHY LIVING.ORGANISING OF OUTINGS PRIMARILY FOR CARERS.

Sending poor patients from any of the specified hospitals to their homes or elsewhere.Purchasing linen or other clothing for poor patients in any of the specified hospitals or for poor patients who have been discharged from any of the specified hospitals.Paying the expenses or part of the expenses for medical aids for poor patients in any of the specified hospitals.
