The provisions of the scheme give the trustees a wide choice in the sort of relief they can offer out of the income of the charity -- as long as the need is clear. We help members of the 'league', aid their families, dependents and colleagues with small financial gifts where necessary, required and applied for. We produce an annual journal and have an AGM requesting for updated information on colleagues/members and their families who may be in need of our assistance. Membership currently 397.

Production and distribution of approximately 200 memory sticks containing local news each week to the blind and partially sighted in the Tendring area.

Our charity activities include raising money for the following - Jean for Genes Day, Red Nose Day, Air Ambulance. Some money goes direct to charities eg MacMillan coffee morning, Children in Need and some other local charities.
