We provide welfare services to needy Merchant Navy seafarers and their dependants. This is achived by :-the provision of accommodation and support for those who are able to live independentley in Mariners Park Estate - the provision of residential,nursing and respite care in the Mariners Park Care Home- the provision of annual,one off grants and a caseworker service

The provision of long term residential and nursing care for chronically sick, disabled or elderly men and respite and rehabilitation.

Bridge's work includes; providing drug treatment services and recovery focused support to individuals and families; working with people with some of the most complex needs and issues in Bradford; and providing employment, education and training services for people with significant barriers to employment.

TLC: Talk, Listen, Change provide a range of services in support of safe, healthy and happy relationships. These include: - counselling for children, young people, individual adults, couples and families- domestic abuse prevention programmes for perpetrators - mediation and separation services- community volunteering projects- partnership relationship-focussed projects

Open Road exists in order to reduce the harmful impact of drugs and alcohol on users, their families, partners and society. We also support young people and vulnerable adults in police custody, to ensure that their welfare is respected. Open Road values and respects the diversity of all and is committed to ensuring we fully represent the people we serve.

To provide supported and residential housing services, primarily for people with mental health needs and for people who require support to enable them to live within the community. Our philosophy is to provide a range of support services to enable tenants to maintain and improve their quality of life and independence.

To express the teachings of Christ by caring for the aged by means of the provision of residential accommodation (including nursing, medical and other care) for retired people of professional and similar backgrounds. The charity operates two homes offering care with nursing to people aged 65 and over at Brockenhurst (Forest Oaks, 46 beds) and Dibden Purlieu, Southampton (Little Haven, 41 beds).

The provision of education to deaf and hearing impaired children aged between 4 and 18. Many students have special educational needs in addition to their hearing impairment.

We currently deliver a diverse mix of services and projects which allow us to deliver a holistic and needs focused approach. Our services include the Wellbeing Network, Counselling & Psychotherapy, Mindfulness courses, Welfare Rights Advice, the Recovery Hub day service, Peer Support Services, Education & skills building and Employment support.

The YMCA's vision is of an inclusive Christian movement, tranforming communities so that all young people truly belong, contribute and thrive. We fulfill this vision through supported housing for homeless young people, family support and childcare, drug and alcohol programmes, community learning activities together with community and youth work.

To provide a retirement home for blind and partially sighted persons and to promote their welfare, but insofar as there is a vacancy in the home which could not be filled by a blind person, such vacancies may be filled by an elderly person who in the opinion of the directors is in need of the accommodation and services provided by the Charity

The Charity runs a convalescent home in Rustington near Littlehampton to provide long or short term convalescent care for men or women who are recovering from sickness or surgery and to provide respite care for those in need.

The National Hospital Development Foundation (working name The National Brain Appeal) supports projects which aim to improve treatment, care and research around neurological disorders and diseases.

We provides support, services & activities to promote well-being and resilience of people in the local community, with a specific focus on people in later life. Our work includes information and advice, dementia care, residential care, hospital discharge support, tackling isolation and loneliness, empowering people to take control of their own lives, carer support, health and activities.

The Charity activities include improvements to the patient environment ,delivery of healthcare and a commitment to provide funding for research , training and education.Allocated expenditure in the year was used on the following categories ; 28% research , 16% patient related ,14% staff related and contributions to capital of 42% which were spent on equipment and refurbishments.

The Charity funds research and improves treatment and care for local people living with and after cancer. The Charity provides care and support for people affected by cancer, during and after treatment, through our information and support centre and outreach work. We also fund: (1)research into the causes of, and improved treatment for, cancer (2)cancer treatment services.

Beat exists to end the pain and suffering caused by eating disorders. We:Support people affected by anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder or other eating disorders through helplines, online support and information. Campaign for change to government policy and health service practice to improve the care for and understanding of eating disorders.Educate professionals and the public.

Witton Lodge Community Association owns and manages over 200 homes for social and market rent, including a 40-apartment Independent Living Scheme. Working with the local community and partners, the Association supports local people with jobs and skills, a range of advice services, health and wellbeing initiatives and environmental projects, to help people live healthier lives.

To brighten the lives of seriously and terminally ill children by providing play and distraction in healthcare settings (throughout UK and NI) to help take their minds off the pain, fear and isolation caused by their illness.

Community Housing and Therapy is a charity that runs residential units for those with severe and enduring mental health difficulties. CHT's therapeutic and rehabilitative programme is designed to create a structure that will lead to recovery, employment and eventual independence.
