The main activity of the charity is the provision of information by all means available and affordable through meetings, training, literatures and performances. The Charity focuses on disseminating traditional Chinese systems of healthy living, meditative practices and self cultivation.Most activities are carried on in Cambridge and increasingly, especially in the training aspects, in London.

The charity improves the lives of disadvantaged people by working with small charities across the UK. We work across four key areas: providing shelter and safety, supporting physical and mental health, improving life skills, and preventing isolation. St Edward's School is a charitable trust providing day and residential placements for boys aged 9 and 18 years who exhibit behavioural difficulties associated with their social, emotional and mental health (SEMH). These may be complicated by additional learning difficulties.

We support patients and families, clinical care teams and scientists who are working towards the common goal of improving mental health. We are the hospital charity for South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM). We fundraise and support projects across SLaM, King's College London, our local community and nationally. We back better care, recovery and prevention of mental illness.
