The London Buddhist Centre teaches meditation and Buddhism in a way that is relevant to contemporary western life. It is a non-proselytising public centre, open to all, with no expectation of Buddhist interest / involvement. The Breathing Space programme run by the Centre teaches Mindfulness Based Approaches to help prevent relapse into depression and addiction and to manage stress and anxiety.

THE BRITISH INSTITUTE OF RADIOLOGY IS A SOCIETY WHOSE MEMBERSHIP IS OPEN TO EVERYONE INTERESTED IN RADIOLOGY, RADIATION ONCOLOGY AND THE UNDERLYING SCIENCES, AND WHICH EXISTS TO HELP IMPROVE THE PREVENTION, DETECTION AND TREATMENT OF DISEASE. IT DISSEMINATES KNOWLEDGE THROUGH ITS MEETINGS, PUBLICATIONS AND INFORMATION SERVICES.

Providing professional training in psychotherapy and counselling. Offers psychotherapy and counselling to the community based on a sliding scale based on financial circumstances. Provides space for counselling for Refugees and Asylum seekers, where possible in the client's first language.

The objectives of the charity, which have been applied during the year, are set out in the Trust Deed. Such objectives require the trustees to apply the property, Honeywood House, as a nursing home for the members of the public requiring long or short term care.

The care and support of homeless and other disadvantaged persons who are in need of help to acquire a settled way of life by providing, developing and maintaining short term residential accommodation or similar facilities.To further help those accommodated by way of advice or counselling & any other form of aid to acquire employment more permanent accommodation education or any other benefit.

THIS IS DONE FROM OUR BASE IN EAST LONDON.

CANDLELIGHTERS SUPPORTS THE WORK OF THE REGIONAL PAEDIATRIC ONCOLOGY & HAEMATOLOGY UNIT IN LEEDS. FUNDING IS PROVIDED FOR HARDSHIP GRANTS, SUPPORT GROUPS, HOLIDAYS AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES FOR FAMILIES WHOSE CHILDREN ARE UNDERGOING TREATMENT FOR CANCER OR LEUKAEMIA AT THE UNIT; MEDICAL AND OTHER EQUIPMENT; MEDICAL; NURSING AND SOCIAL SUPPORT STAFF AND RESEARCH INTO CHILDHOOD CANCER AND LEUKAEMIA

We offer clinical care, support and advice to adults with cancer and other life limiting illness from North East Worcestershire area. In addition, we offer support and advice to the families, carers and friends of patients and a bereavement counselling service that is BACP accredited.

Croydon Drop In is a free, confidential counselling, advocacy, outreach and health education charity who support infants, children & young people between the ages of 2 - 25 and families who live, study or work in the London Borough of Croydon. Drop In has a mobile unit know as Talkbus which travels across the Borough delivering our services to our community in their own environments.

Advancement of the education of the public by: 1) Offering courses of instruction to the public that will promote the mental and creative development of the individual, including Transcendental Meditation and related advanced techniques. 2) Establishing, conducting and maintaining an institution of further education and additional educational facilities. 3) Making grants to other charities.

We provide services throughout the whole of the Black Country and Birmingham, to promote the wellbeing of carers and the person they care for. This includes CQC regulated services of domiciliary care and support, along with information, advice, guidance and training for carers, helping to improve lives, carer breakdown, resulting in admittance to hospital or longer term residential care.

Nansa aims to be a catalyst for real change, across Norfolk, for those living with, or caring for others with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND). Nansa was founded in 1954 for the purposes of providing meaningful and enriching activities for adults with cerebral palsy. Nansa has since grown to provide a wide range of specialist provision, for people of all ages living with SEND.

We actively promote the prevention, recognition and treatment associated to use and misuse of substances including alcohol, drugs and gambling. We advance Education, promote Social Inclusion and Community Capacity and provide relief from disadvantage, preserving and protecting Health and Wellbeing.

A care home whose object is to bring relief to the sufferers of Multiple Sclerosis and other diseases of the central nervous system

St Hilda's is a multi-purpose community centre running a number of projects for the local population including an Older People's Project, an advice service including Legal Advice Clinics, youth groups, Food Co-op project, Women's Project, mental health support, creche and under 5s facilities and others. It also runs an off-site day centre service targeted at Bangladeshi older people.

LONDON BLACK WOMEN'S PROJECT (LBWP) PROVIDES THE FOLLOWING SERVICES UNDER A FRAMEWORK TO END VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN AND GIRLS: EMERGENCY ACCOMMODATION AND HOUSING SUPPORT SERVICES, COUNSELLING, SERVICE FOR YOUNG WOMEN AND GIRLS INCLUDING SUPPORT GROUPS, AND LEGAL ADVICE AND INFORMATION.IN ADDITION LBWP PROVIDES CAPACITY BUILDING TRAINING TO PROFESSIONALS, RESEARCH AND POLICY DEVELOPMENT.

We help people who experience enduring mental health difficulties. Accommodation is available for up to 40 people mainly through our registered care home, hostel & independent living flats in Tunbridge Wells.We offer person-centred care and our residents are encouraged through their support workers to take responsibility for their own lives with a view to moving back into the local community.
