Dementia Matters provides support services to people with dementia and other degenerative neurological disorders and their carers. The Charity provides low cost accommodation and other financial support for 19 elderly, single or widowed men, aged over 50 years, who should be fit and well and able to look after themselves and reside within a 10 mile radius of Retford, Notts, and who need financial and spiritual support and wish to live as part of a christian community

The charity operates a hospice called Peace Hospice Care. It provides comprehensive multidisciplinary specialist palliative care without charge and discrimination for the people of Hertfordshire. Services include daycare,inpatient care,home care,family support and spiritual care. Continuing support is provided for family and friends through into bereavement.
