THE PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES UNDERTAKEN BY THIS CHARITY INCLUDE SUNDAY AND MIDWEEK SERVICES, TEACHING SEMINARS, SPIRITUAL RETREATS, COUNSELLING SERVICES AND AN OUTREACH MINISTRY TO LONDON PRISONS

To enable people of all ages who are without one or more limbs to achieve rehabilitation and independence in hospital, home, education, employment and the community.

From our base The Berin Centre, we provide daily support and group sessions for children and their families in Berinsfield and the wider South Oxon area. We run training and parenting courses with a focus on supporting children's learning. Our base is used by many groups in the community including a craft group and counselling charity. Once a week we run a non means tested Community Larder .

To provide a Community based low cost Counseling service for those who seek relief from emotional difficulties and mental health issues.

We work with all ages: provide facilities for sports & wellbeing, opportunities for arts & crafts sessions,activities for children, young people & community support. Core projects: community lunch club, free exercise & pottery for over 60s, dementia cafe, crisis food parcels, free activities for under 5s, community events, art programmes for all ages, after school activities including woodwork

To promote and advance the study and general knowledge of science & medicine and all matters relating to the progress and development of all branches of medicine and surgery and for that purpose to establish, facilities for medical and scientific reseach, and buildings for postgraduate medical and dental teaching.

Support and services for women to improve lives and status for all women in the area. Counselling, Freedom Programme for victims of domestic/sexual abuse. IT support for women returning to work, English as a Second Language classes, creche facilities, mother and toddler group. Activities such as Art Therapy and various workshops

The charity exists to maintain the hospital which consists of 24 almshouses, a chapel and ancillary buildings. Qualifying persons over 60 entitled to reside here are elected from local parishes. The education foundation provides financial assistance towards the education of persons under 25 years also resident in local parishes.

The Food Chain ensures people living with HIV in London can access the nutrition they need to get well, stay well and lead healthy, independent lives. Our tailored support is delivered by volunteers and includes the most appropriate package of home-delivered meals, groceries, nutrition and cookery classes and communal dinners.

To improve the health and wellbeing of the residents of Tottenham and the immediate surrounding areas by the provision of sports and community facilities.

Family Groups Limited t/a Al-Anon Family Groups has been in operation since 1951. Al-Anon Family Groups has but one purpose: to help families of alcoholics. Al-Anon is not allied with any sect, denomination, political entity, organisation or institution; does not engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any cause. Support groups can be found throughout the UK.

To maintain the endowment fund to provide income to Almshouses

The Valley Trust provides counselling services to schools in Surrey and bordering counties, through the work of fully qualified and experienced counsellors and therapists.

Lectures and retreats are held on a regular basis at the centre. The meditation room is used for daily services, and for private prayer and contemplation. The bookshop has a large stock of books on Vedanta and related subjects. The centre provides support for the philanthropic work of other Ramakrishna Math and Mission centres.

Equal Arts is the Northern Region's arts & older people's agency. We aim to improve the quality of people's lives in the North East by enabling older people to have access to high quality arts projects. We work in res care homes, hospitals, arts venues & other comm venues & contract professional, experienced artists to facilitate each project.

We make grants primarily to culture and heritage; nature conservation; and activity, health and wellbeing (including research). We mainly support national charities, but also local charities if their beneficiaries or activities are located in North Wales, London or South East England (specifically Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Kent, East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire).

The charity activities include Buddhists activities for those who would like to participate and improve their mental and physical abilities through Buddhist teaching and meditation. This is especially for stress and distress in their day to day life as well as help and relief when and where people need. Also the centre provides education which is relevant to improve the knowledge of living world.

The Trust raises funds for the support of the running costs of a school for deaf children, a day care centre for disabled children and a Nursing Training College in Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu District, South India. These provide better health care, education and training for poor and disabled people in that area of India.

Providing support to families in need, particularly mothers fleeing domestic abuse. Providing recovery support from substance misuse dependancies to women and accommodation whilst this support is offered. Providing support & education services to non-resident beneficiaries through a range of farm-based skills development and confidence building activities.

Wales Council for Deaf People offers a range of services tailored to support individuals who are deaf, deafened, deafblind, or hard of hearing. These includes interpreting, community support, sign language training, and deaf/deafblind awareness programs. Our services are available throughout Wales.
