THE PROMOTION OF RESEARCH THEREIN AND THE PUBLICATION OF THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH. CHANGES AIMS TO PROMOTE WELLNESS, RECOVERY AND SOCIAL INCLUSION.

The society undertakes a range of activities to facilitate the acquisitiion and dissemination of knowledge in the field of antimicrobial chemotherapy. These activities include funding research, awarding grants, organising educational meeting, events and e-learning, service standards, publishing peer review journals, advising external bodies and collaborating with likewise organisations globally.

All of our work, in the UK, on the Isle of Man, in Nepal and in Uganda, aims to give D/deaf people equal access to every part of life. We do this through Residential Support and Rehabilitation; Education and Training; Deaf/Sign Language Arts; Deaf Culture Projects; Deaf Heritage Projects; and the provision of Deaf Spaces. At the centre of of all that we do is Deaf Culture and sign language.

Ovarian Cancer Action strives to stop women dying from ovarian cancer. We fund world-class scientific research leading to innovative treatments and progressive solutions. Ovarian Cancer Action campaigns to ensure women and healthcare providers know risk factors, symptoms and treatment options to enable informed and rapid action.

The company's objectives and principle activities are the treatment of alcoholism, drug dependency, Gambling, Dual Diagnosis and eating disorders.

To promote the science of psychoanalysis and to promote education relating thereto

The foundation gives grants to further education and to promote the health and wellbeing of young people, mainly in the UK, India and the USA. It also gives humanitarian relief where appropriate, from time to time.

Croft Care Trust provides care for adults over the age of 18 years with physical and learning difficulties within our Nursing Home and Residential Village

The Foundation supports the good causes for which Iceland Foods and its employees undertake a wide range of fundraising activities each year. Since 1986 Iceland Foods and the Foundation have together given over GBP9m to charities including Alder Hey Children's Hospital (over GBP3m), Help For Heroes (GBP1.6m), Alzheimer's Research UK (over GBP3.0m) and The Prostate Cancer Charity (over GBP500,000).

Domiciliary care is provided for up to 71 elderly blind and partially sighted persons. Up to 400 blind and partially sighted persons attend our Day Centre each week to participate in stimulating and therapeutic activities. We provide Community Services to blind and partially sighted persons residing in the Midlands area. We facilitate employment opportunities for visually impaired people.

The Charity funds research and improves treatment and care for local people living with and after cancer. The Charity provides care and support for people affected by cancer, during and after treatment, through our information and support centre and outreach work. We also fund: (1)research into the causes of, and improved treatment for, cancer (2)cancer treatment services.

The Charity provides a comrehensive range of services to support visually impaired people in the city of Sheffield.

-Providing support to women, particularly but not exclusively of Asian origin who have been victims of violence, including those who have suffered or are likely to suffer physical, emotional, sexual abuse or harm. -Providing temporary hostel accommodation to such women and by any other such means as shall further the objects of the company.-Providing advice, counselling, support, training.

The EACR is a membership organisation for those studying and working in cancer research. It provides education, training, networking and support for members and non-members with the aim of making progress in cancer research for the public benefit.

To promote the veterinary and allied sciences for the welfare of the horse, and foster the cultural, scientific and professional activities of veterinary surgeons interested in equine practice, teaching and research. To provide education and training, on the health and welfare of the horse through the CharityÔÇÖs meetings, AGM and education programme and to encourage research into equine problems.

Spadework is a charity that enables people to be more independent, feel less isolated and live happier, healthier and more fulfilling lives. Working in the heart of their community, they provide a wide range of meaningful opportunities for adults with learning and other disabilities, for those living with dementia and for people experiencing problems with their mental health.

St Benedict's Hospice provides palliative care services to the people of Sunderland and surrounding districts.

Provision of counselling services, information and advice, training, family and individual supports services, and development of health and social care projects.

Publish The Bone and Joint Journal, Bone & Joint Research, and Bone & Joint 360.Maintain websites containing key information for orthopaedic surgeons' education. Encourage authors to prepare and submit high-quality research.Provide production and publishing services to orthopaedic associations.

Age Concern Birmingham is the foremost voluntary agency supporting older people, their families and carers. The services provided include, but are not exclusive to, day centres, luncheon clubs, carers support services, befriending schemes, specialist support services (grants and advice service, and debt counselling), information, tradesperson and handyman directory and volunteer schemes.

The charity's work includes care of the elderly, pastoral and parish work in UK, and overseas missionary work, teaching and nursing in Tanzania.
