The Sussex MS Treatment Centre provides therapies and support for those living with neurological conditions, principally multiple sclerosis

To raise aspirations and create better prospects by supporting individuals to become resilient, confident, ambitious and independant under our vision of "Your Future - Our Business". To achieve the objectives of the charity through the provision of education and vocational training, provide counselling and advisory services and assist with advice and information to both individuals and charities.

Women and Health is a charity working in the London Borough of Camden. It provides low cost complementary and alternative medicine treatments and counselling services for women living or working in the borough. (Counselling for women living or seeing a GP in the borough). W&H provides well being classes, advisory GP and outreachs services to isolated and housebound women.

-The relief of persons who are in conditions of need, hardship, or distress; or who are aged, or sick by the provision of counselling services to individuals and groups-The advancement of public education especially education in counselling skills Through the following activities:-Individual counselling-Couple counselling-personal development workshops and groups.

Dementia Carers Count is the working name for The Royal Surgical Aid Society. We provide space for family carers of people with dementia to inspire them to learn, connect and receive practical support to feel empowered in their caring role. We invest in research to understand family carers? experiences, needs and desired outcomes, and campaign to improve the support they receive.

Our core work is to promote healthy lifestyles by raising awareness of the dangers of alcohol, drugs, smoking and gambling, through various methods: health information display boards; age appropriate literature; current information and news on our website, and social media platforms. Our health information display boards cover topics for all ages and are available free of charge across the UK.

The principal activity of the charity is to promote Buddhism according to the teachings of Je Tsongkhapa. To accomplish this we run drop-in classes, study programmes, retreats and courses.World Peace Cafe, Shop and gardens. Residential community.

Social Care services:Support, information and advice for people living with or affected by HIV & AIDS. Welfare and benefits advice, housing and legal information.Prevention & Health Promotion:Training and information for professionals regarding sexual health and sexuality. Condom and lube provision, peer support groups for LGBT people. Sexual health screening, training for local community.

Deaf Choices UK aspires to give deaf children improved access to: LANGUAGE by empowering their families to make fully informed choices. LITERACY, by supporting their educators to access information, training and resources. We provide knowledge information and training around the unique benefits, concepts and skills of using Cued Speech. Our offer supports deaf children and those with SEND.

There are a wide variety of activities which take place with in the charity depending upon the skills and abilities of the Sisters. They include visiting the sick at home or in hospital, supporting families who need help with various situations in life. They also offer pastoral education to both children and adults and spend a lot of time caring for and helping the homeless.

Day activities, services and support to adults with physical and/or sensory disabilities and their carers.

We are hosting a range of projects and programmes in its impressively large building including children education projects , Healthy Lifestyles Project for the elderly, support for people suffering from mental health problems, and a core Women's Group. There is very low-cost gym usage for the public.

Blue Watch is a resource for children, young people and families living in Sunderland East and its surrounding area. It provides recreational and leisure activities, services for those who are/at risk of homelessness/temporary accommodation, substance misuse, excluded from education, social media exploitation, debt and limited opportunities due to age, gender, infirmity or disability.

The distribution of quarterly gratuities to retired people in need living in the Borough of Bedford. The Charity also gives money to Charities which benefit the people of Bedford.

Spare Tyre uses and makes theatre that enables voiceless communities and individuals to share and celebrate their untold stories transforming lives and challenging prejudice.We currently work with older people, adults with learning disabilities, people with advanced dementia, women who have experienced violence, and disenfranchised and economically communities across London and beyond.

The objects of the charity is to benefit the public by providing relief and rehabilitation to persons resident in the United Kingdom suffering or recovering from any form of mental illness by provision of opportunities for such persons to engage in therapeutic activities.

The Charity manages a loved listed building that houses useful functions such as; a community halls, nursery, cafe, doctors surgery and office space for businesses and charities. With surpluses from rent income it provides cheap use of the halls to small community initiatives, directly runs mental health and elderly projects and provides a corporate umbrella for developing community groups.

Raises funds by letters of appeal, organises small fundraising events. We purchase equipment for the hospital & also acts as liaison between Rambam and the Homerton Hospital in Hackney, London, in the exchange programme of nurses and other medical personnel.

The North London Buddhist Centre offers courses and classes in Meditation, Buddhism, Yoga and other activities to promote health, happiness and well-being. Its aim is to develop a Buddhist practice community in the city relevant to our lives in the 21st Century.It is part of an international network of the Friends of the Western Buddhist Order, which has over 80 centres world-wide.

Provide a sheltered workshop facility for those suffering from long term severe and enduring mental health problems inc. schizophrenia and manic depression. To provide meaningful work for sufferers. To provide information and support for sufferers and carers and support other organisations statutory and voluntary working in the same field.

To raise money for the purchase of equipment and amenities for the benefit of both patients and staff in our local hospitals and in the community.

The main activities of the Chinese Community Centre are as follows:Information, Advice and Outreach Services, Elderly Health Improvement Project and Healthy Eating Luncheon Club, Community Group Support Services, Arts and Culture Programme; Life Long Learning - English for Speakers of Other Languages Classes and Computer classes and a Youth Club.

RE-SOLV WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1984 AND IS A NATIONAL CHARITY SOLELY CONCERNED WITH THE PREVENTION OF SOLVENT AND VOLATILE SUBSTANCE ABUSE THROUGH EDUCATION.
