The Sisters of the Holy Cross support the religious and other charitable works carried on by the members of the Congregation, including the provision of education, care, social, pastoral and counselling services. Supporting the overseas missionary work of the Congregation and the provision of grants to other organisations in line with our Charitable objectives. Care is given to older Sisters.

CancerCare is a unique local charity dedicated to helping local families affected by the impact of cancer and other life limiting conditions across North Lancashire and South Lakeland. We provide a wide range of free professional services including a number of psychological, complementary and creative therapies.

A care home whose object is to bring relief to the sufferers of Multiple Sclerosis and other diseases of the central nervous system

We provide advice, support & information to people affected by mental health problems. We provide residential care and supported housing within the community. Drop-ins are provided throughout Denbighshire, along with limited individual support.

East and North Herts Charity supports patients of East and North Hertfordshire Hospitals, including the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre and Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre, through fundraising for additional equipment, better facilities and new research. CACDP t/a Signature is the awarding body for deafness related qualifications such as British Sign Language and Deaf Awareness. We also hold registers for Language Service Professionals.

These are clearly stated in the Trustees' report: currently we give grants in the fields of medical research, youth, penal affairs, health, mental health and community development.

The Cardiff and Vale Local Health Board General Purpose Charity covers the charitable objectives relating to the NHS services provided by the Cardiff and Vale Local Health Board. The work of the Charity helps to enhance and support the services provided by the UHB which is primarily to provide day-to-day health services to around 500,000 people living in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.

We provide supportive & palliative care on a 24 hour basis for adults in the community whose quality of life is affected by any life limiting condition. Family and friends are included in this care.
