Offering professional counselling to help those facing emotional problems, in particular those who cannot manage this from their own resources, where those less able to pay are not excluded.

The relief of poverty; the advancement of education; the advancement of religion; the equipping of hospices with cutlery; and other purposes beneficial to the community. Preference is given to charities that serve London, especially those that benefit deprived inner London boroughs.Grants are not normally awarded to charities that attract national support, or those outside the UK.

The Bradby Club work with ages 8 to 25 providing a safe and inclusive environment. Providing open access sessions for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, affording opportunities and experiences; Improving aspirations and self-esteem. Our specialised services offer prevention and guidance in schools and youth provisions in the following: Substance misuse, sexual health, safer relationships

To aid and improve the condition of those suffering from Multiple Sclerosis (MS), and those suffering other symptoms or conditions which may benefit from therapy.

The centre offers rooms and facilities to a variety of organisations who are active in caring, counselling, rehabilitation and community welfare. We welcome other groups who follow similar interests,particularly those working for the benefit of young people

Chorley Women's Centre promotes the mental health and wellbeing of women in Chorley and surrounding areas. We provide a listening ear to drop in users, courses, information, self help groups, free counselling, and relaxation sessions.We are run by volunteers and open 2 days a week, and 1 day for DV CounsellingDrop in users may go on to become volunteers and then on to the management committee.

Provision of adult education classes, family learning courses, clubs, groups, activities for junior, teenage and adult members of the local community together with functions, social events, fund raising and workshops. The relief of suffering of animals of any species who are in need of care and attention and in particular to provide or maintain kennels, catteries, refuges, rescue homes, animal hospitals, sanctuaries or such facilities for the reception and care of unwanted animals or animals in distress and the treatment of sick or ill treated animals.

We are entirely self supporting. Our income comes from membership fees,donations, legacies and proceeds from our gift shop and flower shop.We aim to meet requests for funding received from Hammersmith Hospital, that may not be readily available through the NHS.Our aim is to supply equipment beneficial to patients and staff and to provide facilities for the treatment of patients.

DDP works with partner organisations to help build a society where disabled and other marginalised and vulnerable people have equal social, economic and civil rights. DDP creates opportunities in education for disabled children, including deaf children, sets up socio-economic programmes and supports partner organisations to advocate for disabled people's rights and influence public policy.

A local independent church with activities for church members and wider community including: parent & toddler group; counselling; Boys & Girls Brigades; Kids Church; youth club. Charitable work locally includes helping the homeless and vulnerable. Additionally the church supports initiatives abroad including orphanages in Uganda and India and aid projects in developing countries.

Speakeasy helps people with aphasia - a communication difficulty caused by stroke or other head injury. We also offer practical help and advice for families and carers of people with aphasia.

The principal objective of the League is to help and benefit patients and medical staff at the West Berkshire Community Hospital. It seeks to meet its objective by funding the purchase of medical equipment for use within the West Berkshire Community Hospital and by Community Nursing. This equipment would not otherwise be available and the League selects equipment on the basis of merit and need

Neighbourcare gives assistance to the community in variety of ways: Transport to doctors and hospitals; Shopping; cleaning; gardening; relieving carers; visiting the housebound; sitting service; Home from Hospital Help; Fetching prescriptions; Pop in Service; Filling forms; meals on wheels referrals; Lunch Club, Community Shop and a Silver Surfer Internet Cafe to teach IT skills to the over 50s.

Runs one charity shop and other fundraising events to support Danesbury Neurological Centre (an NHS facility treating adults with neurological problems) and Queen Victoria Memorial Hospital (which provides rehabilitation following a stay in an acute hospital) as well as occasional support to other Hertfordshire NHS facilities providing similar rehabilitation.

The object of the League is to relieve patients of the Hospital who are sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped or infirm and, generally to support the charitable work of the above Hospital.
