The charity aims to prevent today's carers of any age living in Bedfordshire from becoming tomorrow's cared for by providing practical help, advice, assistance, advocacy, information, group and individual support to people caring, or who have cared for, unpaid, others who due to illness, disability, a mental health problem or an addiction cannot cope without their support.

St Hilda's is a multi-purpose community centre running a number of projects for the local population including an Older People's Project, an advice service including Legal Advice Clinics, youth groups, Food Co-op project, Women's Project, mental health support, creche and under 5s facilities and others. It also runs an off-site day centre service targeted at Bangladeshi older people.

We provide facilities & services to disadvantaged people across 5 community facilities. Thrive is the leading UK gardening for health charity, helping to improve people's physical and mental health through gardening. Thrive has over 45 years' experience of an approach called Social and Therapeutic Horticulture (STH), where trained horticultural therapists work with people and plants to improve an individual's physical and psychological health, communication and social skills.

Emotional and practical support, therapies, information, advice and guidance with women, children and families through counselling, groups, activities, drop ins and open access sessions at our Centres and through outreach and home visits. Other activities include money and energy advice, resettlement support and supported housing.

The Homeopathy Research Institute is a unique and innovative charity created to address the need for reliable scientific evidence in homeopathy. They include the busy parish of Ealing Abbey, a non-denominational counselling service which seeks to fill a gap in NHS counselling and a centre for adult education where students study and seek to understand the monastic life.

Centre for Mental Health undertakes research and development activities in the field of mental health. These activities are particularly focussed on mental health care in prisons and the criminal justice system and on issues relating to the employment of people with mental health problems. Findings and recommendations are aimed at creating improvements on a national scale.

Our aim is to provide supported housing, for single homeless people and individuals completing rehabilitation treatment. The Charity sets out to offer extra support to those effected, to pay for counselling sessions and mentoring. We also offer accredited training and also group training such as Art Therapy and life skills to help encourage people back into independant living and back into work.

Hope for Tomorrow is a national cancer charity dedicated to making life easier for those suffering from cancer, and helping their dependents and families to cope with the difficulties they face.The Charities prime focus is to fund, build and maintain Mobile Chemotherapy Units, and then work in partnership with NHS Trusts to provide chemotherapy treatment closer to home.
