The EGA Hospital Charity supports both patients and staff at the hospital. We award a Travel Fellowship yearly for doctors travelling abroad to further their training. We help with improvement of hospital facilities, fund research projects and buy vital equipment such as for fetal surgery or postnatal care, and much more. The EGA Charity PhD Scholarship, funding PhD fees, started in 2022.

Resources & professional development activities for professionals working with children with VI. Website with access to the American Journal of Visual Impairment and Blindness. Professional networks, annual national conference, representation to Government on issues about the education of children with VI. Funds provide research. VIEW acts as a partner for relevant teacher training courses.

ASCN UK (2013) provides an educational forum for nurses delivering specialist health-care to individuals with a Colorectal / Urological stoma. The object of the League is to relieve patients of the Newark Hospital and other invalids who are sick, convalescing, have a disability or in need of financial assistance and generally to support the charitable work of Newark Hospital.

Trustees' policy is to aid improvement of welfare to the elderly & in particular to support hospices for the elderly & their day centres, including assisting with capital projects from the Trust's capital.
