JBCS was set up to protect and preserve mental health and the relief of suffering and distress caused through bereavement by:Offering bereavement counselling to the Jewish community, individuals, children, young people and families;Providing advice and support on bereavement issues;Providing training to individuals and organisations on bereavement.

We support Jewish religious institutions of learning and synagogues, including schools and colleges. We also support charities for the relief of the poor, medical research, hospitals etc.

The Friends' aim is to assist in promoting the health, comfort and welfare of the patients, their visitors and the staff of the East Surrey Hospital by the provision of equipment, medical and otherwise, and amenities, by running a coffee shop in the Hospital and generally by supporting the charitable work of the Hospital.

We are an international Buddhist movement bringing the Buddha's teaching to the general public. We provide meditation classes and a space for yoga, Shiatsu, etc. We operate on a donations basis.

The Bubble Foundation UK supports the work of the Childrens Bone Marrow Transplant unit at The Great North Childrens Hospital in Newcastle upon Tyne.We treat children from the northern half of England, Scotland ,Northern Ireland and Eire who are born with severe Immunodeficiences. We provide medical & educational equipment,finance research, and support families during a prolonged stay in hospital.

Fund raising to provide equipment and comforts for patients at the Royal Cornwall Hospital, Treliske, Truro and Volunteers to welcome and guide patients through the Hospital, to provide tea and coffee services to patients awaiting appointments, a library trolley and a Friends Coffee Shop providing tea, coffees and other refreshments

COMPASS BRAILLE TRANSCRIBE/PRODUCE BRAILLE BIBLES/BOOKS IN MANY LANGUAGES FOR USE IN 120+ DESTINATIONS WORLDWIDE AT A COMPUTERISED BRAILLE PRODUCTION UNIT. OVERSEAS PARTNER GROUPS DISTRIBUTE THE BRAILLE TO OTHER GROUPS AND INDIVIDUALS WITHIN THEIR COUNTRY/COMMUNITIES. THE BRAILLE IS USED IN CHURCH SITUATIONS, EDUCATION, VOCATIONAL TRAINING AND SELF-EMPLOYMENT SCHEMES, ETC.

Provision of almshouses.

The League supports Derriford Hospital by the provision of equipment as and when it is needed.

KEMP House Trust supports the charitable activities of KEMP Hospice (formerly KEMP House Trust Ltd) charity number 1146310

We provide youth workers to meet young people on the streets with the aim of engaging with them and introducing them to diverse worthwhile activities. We provide advocacy advice and support in terms of sexual health, well-being, drug and alcohol misuse and parenting. We facilitate activities promoting healthier lifestyle and physical wellbeing.

To carry out activities that provide for the relief of sickness amongst persons suffering from cancer or haematological diseases, in particular by the provision of a unit designed to offer chemotherapy in pleasant surroundings.

We are a group of 45 unpaid volunteers who provide search and rescue services to people and animals who find themselves in difficulty, mainly in the countryside. We are available all day every day, whatever the weather. An Operational Support Group aid the Search and Rescue members. We depend on donations and fundraising. We assist both the Police and the Ambulance Service and other services.

The objective of the Bishop Seth Ward Almshouse Trust is to help house underprivileged mature adults in Buntingford, Hertfordshire. The Trust raises funds through the letting of endowment and investment properties to support the running and maintenance of the Almshouses.

The Federation oversees 109 WIs throughout Leicestershire and Rutland, organising educational courses in crafts, public affairs, health and wellbeing, sport and other areas, aimed at providing women with the opportunity to maximise their enjoyment of life and involvement in the local community.

The Centre provides a range of complementary therapies to people with multiple sclerosis and other neurological conditions. These include Hyperbaric Oxygen, Physiotherapy, Massage, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, a range of excercise equipment suitable for people with disabilites, and advice, information and support.We open at different times each day -for further details please check our website.

Artists Futures Fund supports artists in need, namely those experiencing economic, societal, or physical or mental health issues.

Formed in 1977 with the object of promoting the welfare of the elderly within Bude, and the surrounding areas detailed in our constitution, in any manner that is or may become charitable. Currently that involves operating a subsidised hospital car scheme and a subsidised shopping scheme supported by income from donations and a charity shop.
